We have a "make my day" law here in Colorado.
Aww whats the matter??? Some big strong men cannot stand the plastic scene of baby Jesus???
I wonder how close they are to the local mosque? Although more than likely, it was probably some punk kid.
For all of their faults, it is highly unlikely that Muslims would do this.
I'm more than saddened and angered by these reports. That people feel such hatred and vicious anger against God is very serious. The next step is to harm believers in God.
My personal opinion is that such vandals and desecrators should be beaten, but that's just me.
I concur, Muslims at least have enough respect for Jesus that they would not do this, he is after all a major prophet of Islam. This is highly organized, I would say secular humanists, oops I mean Satanists (Same thing now days). These people are lost and need prayers, deceived as we all once were.
LOL. If that's the best the Enemy's got, he's stupider than he's made out to be. He can smash a statue, but he can't smash the Truth it represents!
I doubt that anyone would go through the trouble to organize the destruction of nativity scenes across America. However, it does seem possible that the current level of animosity toward Christians in America, and elsewhere, is enough to elicite such destruction. I would hate to think this is coordinated although I place nothing past evil and those who practice it.
I used to think that way, although I don't anymore. I think the "Jesus is a prophet in Islam" line that we hear from the likes of CAIR is a load of bunk meant to placate the Christians in this country.

"I don't understand why anyone would do such things"
Rent the movie Needful Things. While a work of fiction it examines Satan pitting members of a community against each other.
Evil is on the march. We will soon be at each others throats world wide. There seems to be no stopping it. The only hope I see are Christian values and these values are in the process of being repressed world wide.
Hmm maybe so, but this doesn't sound like the work of muslims...not violent enough :-).
Some brats in NJ did this last year. The dopes were caught.

little do they know they are heaping coals of fire on their head. You gotta feel sorry for them for they know not what they do. it is up to God to forgive them. JessM
In Friendswood, TX there is a rash of vandalism. One of my co-workers had his Baby Jesus stolen. One of his neighbors gave him a replacement.
Thanks for reminding me of that book, I read it years ago. I agree with you about Christian values . It seems its ok to be anything but Christian lately. I heard tonight that a cross was removed from a college chapel, I didn't get the name of it. But that the students want it put back. The dean said it could be displayed all day Sunday and the students weren't happy with that either. They have a petition and want it back where it has always been. I was glad to hear that.
I dont think it is coordinated. I think that the zeitgeist. And it is going to become more pronounced.
