It's been a great Christmas. I gave my little brother the 4th Harry Potter movie and, after we ate dinner, the two of us plus my dad and one of my other brothers watched the movie. And now I'm eating my chocolate and watching a movie that I got. :)
Awww...are they far away from you? Or did it just not work out to have everyone together this year? One of my brothers didn't make it home this year but he lives in Vermont and was spending Christmas with his girlfriend and her parents.
wow, whoda guessed that. well, it is a keeper. will check for my toaster pix & get it to you.
I know you put a lot of thought and work into this most special Christmas Day Dose, and all I can say is THANK YOU, it's BOOKMARKED and it's absolutely dazzling!
For one thing...that idiot Terrell Owens that Dallas spent a lot of money to get....has dropped at least 2 easy passes every game..and today I think there were 3.
I find that the Cowboys usually get in trouble when they start thinking they are GOOD...ugh
Merry Christmas, Snugs :)
We all enjoyed being in on the surprise. Does your Dad wonder who the heck we are? :D
I think part of the problem is that Romo is basically a rookie...and doesn't have the poise that maybe Bledsoe would have..
BTW..that idea you have about going to bed EARLY...I am thinking the same thing.
I have stayed up a lot later than usual the last few nights..and I feel drained.
Also...you mentioned this was your first Christmas that the family didn't all get together, and you don't like it...
I am having empty nest doldrums something awful today..and I didn't think I would.
Hi snugs - thanks for the dose - fruit and flowers - just sooo Williamsburg. I tried to use that theme this year, but had no time to follow thru.
I think this year's decs were my favorite tho.
I cannot stand that arrogant blankety-blank. Grrrrr...
So where did he get this rep for being such a top player. You're right. He drops easy passes several times a game. His mouthing off makes trouble in the locker room. Even though he does make big plays, he's a waste of money in my opinion.
How wonderful, Jonny. A Christmas tree made out of our screen names. I'm going to save that for sure. :)
How wonderful for y'all! I too love the Harry Potter movies and books. I think I know the first two movies by heart becuase I watched both so many times with the little granddaughter we raised from age 3 weeks to age five years.
Your little brother is a cutie, huh? and he adores you. Christmas is for families to be together.
Mine are spead out -- daughter and her three in Cayman Islands, sons in CA and we're in MS. Oh well. Next year I'll make arrangements. :)
I think Terrell Owens is a prime example of hype exceeding reality...
I think he got the reputation of being "great" when he was with San Francisco...and even though he hasn't lived up to it with the Eagles and Dallas, his "greatness" is accepted by the MEDIA.
We're on the same page... I sort of "worried" we might be. Maybe we'll do a little FR mailing, or should I say a little MORE FR mailing. :)
Beautiful tribute sj!!!
Did you see Carrie Underwood in the crowd during the Dallas Cowboy game???
that is lovely jonny.. very thoughtful of you!
Which is a perfect commentary on the collective media conventional wisdom. It stinks worse than 10-day-old fish sitting out in 90-degree weather.
I'm going to save that for sure. :)
LOL, well at least I was able to give you something this year ;)
Look at you, sweet silent_jonny! How beautiful is that!!! WOW!
*** I note, and want to make clear, that I am only at the top of the tree because my screen name is the shortest. Y'all are the best Dose posters and hosters. I remain thrilled and flattered that y'all asked me to join you.
