Their cited oll numbers of 33% are a BIG FAT LIE. Battleground polls show Bush still at around 42-45% before the SOTU.
And .. the new attack on Bush's poll numbers has come as a rusult of the STUNNING polls which CNN got on the night of the SOTU address .. when they favored Bush with about 78%.
Since we can't have the public believing anybody even likes Bush .. they went on a poll-taking tirade BY OVER-SAMPLING DEMOCRATS 22% - that's up from 16% which they used in the 2006 election.
If the drive-by are having to increase the number of dems in their polls in order to get the numbers they want .. THIS MEANS BUSH'S NUMBERS ARE RISING - not lowering. I hope some people get this.
CyberAnt, you wouldn't happen to have dug up the link to that CNN poll or some of the others, have you? I'm getting pretty sick of this low 30 BS myself.
Check with our own "Dr Deb"
She usually posts all the stats for us on the "A Day in the Life of President Bush" thread.
That's where I read it. I'm not sure which day, but if you do a search for "A Day" you should come up with a list of the past week. There is a new thread everyday. Just look for the post by Dr Deb. Or .. you can go to your "mail" page and search for her posts. Either way, you can find the info.
Also .. if you have Rush's 24/7, you can view the past week's webpages and there will be a section about the CNN poll they took on SOTU night .. 78% of the public liked the President's speech.
Other than Rush and the Speed Channel, I haven't missed much from either - definately not the news, lol.
I love Rush 24/7 - so many times when the news is just unbearable .. I can re-listen to Rush and it's always funny and more than once I've heard things I didn't hear the first time.
I heard a CNN reporter refer to President Bush as "Mr. Bush" today. I talked back to the TV myself. Then I asked "who changed the channel to CNN?"
Two years ago I commented that I thought it was no worse than what Reagan received. I was wrong. I've never seen anything like it. I don't know how the Sr. Bush can stand it.
