Did she not say at the scene that she was at fault?

Well, there you go! Not Guilty!

It always amazes me how some people can just brush off death with a 'nothing here to see' attitude.

I shouldn't be amazed tho, considering the 'Pro-Choice' crowd.

"While the outcome was tragic, it was, from all indications, nothing more than an accident. (AFAIK, people commonly get prosecuted for causing accidents which result in a loss of life.)"

Which is stupid I think. There was no intent, so let this matter be handled where it belongs, in civil court. Let the other driver's family sue Brandy into the poor house. Save the taxpayer's some money.

Apparently killing people is OK if you're a black celebrity. It didn't hurt O.J. Simpson.

My wife and I have talked about this case. She admits that she was at fault. It was an accident. Things happen. I hope for her dignity, her fans, and kids of all color, who look up to her, that she takes the punishment, whatever that is, and says yes, I was at fault, and I accept it. It would be a good thing for her, for the kids that look up to her, and her fans if she did that. I hope she does. Anything less, and it will be seen as she got away with it because of $$ or fame. So what if she goes to prison for a year or two. She will be better off and her career will be better off, I think.

Just my 2 cents.

So when you kill someone accidently with your vehicle, are you just supposed to get an "Atta Girl!" and a ride home?

Modern definition of civil rights: avoid punishing any "minority" who committed any felony.

There are no true "minorities" in California as there is no longer a "majority". Perhaps a lesser plurality.

She was doing 65 on the highway - the traffic in front of her had slowed and she realized it too late. She was driving a Range Rover.

Brandy rear-ended a car whose driver DIED.

There is a middle step you are leaving out. Brandy hit the car, the car was pushed into another lane and then hit again by a different driver.

I haven't heard it suggested that is was the rear-ending which killed the woman. Brandy wasn't drunk or drugged, no one has said she was being particularly reckless. She was inattentive, obviously. If you've never had a moment of inattentiveness while driving, congratulations.

The victims family is now suing her for the sitcom royalties.

Is Brandy Muslim?

And wasn't the victim an Asian? Why aren't the Asians claiming that this accident had racial overtones of black-hate-against-Asians?

I do understand what happened. It was her action that caused the womans death. I do know that a moment of inattentiveness is common and happens to all of us, but when these moments cause the death of someone usually there is a criminal price to pay.

Celebrity persecution? This would certainly explain how the cops set up Mel Gibson.
