I'm really proud of Glenn Beck. He gets it......and he doesn't forget it!!!
I just sent the following e-mail to James Zogby [his e-mail address is jzogby@aaiusa.org]
Mr. Zogby,
Mr. Beck claims that there exists an "evil 10%" among Muslims and that the other 90% of them need to speak out more forcefully against that group. If you wish to point out how Mr. Beck is wrong in this, why not do so? Instead, you seek to silence him. My understanding is that Mr. Beck would be happy to have you appear on his TV or radio show to explain why he is wrong about this.
From where I sit, based on years of experience and some modest amount of study, I would say that Mr. Beck's thesis is right on the money. The silence of world Muslims with respect to what can only be called the bloodthirsty totalitarianism of radical Islam is astounding to me and to many other thoughtful citizens and scholars. When some Christians preach hate, there are entire movements of others who speak out in resistance. There are vocal organizations of Jews who criticize the actions of the Israeli government. But when moderate Muslims speak out against the extremists, they risk their very lives.
Instead of seeking to silence Mr. Beck's view, which I believe is growing across this country, it would serve you well to respond in an intellectually honest fashion.

Biography
Dr. James J. Zogby is founder and president of the Arab American Institute (AAI), a Washington, D.C.-based organization which serves as the political and policy research arm of the Arab American community. Since 1985, Dr. Zogby and AAI have led Arab American efforts to secure political empowerment in the U.S. Through voter registration, education and mobilization, AAI has moved Arab Americans into the political mainstream.
For the past three decades, Dr. Zogby has been involved in a full range of Arab American issues. A co-founder and chairman of the Palestine Human Rights Campaign in the late 1970s, he later co-founded and served as the Executive Director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. Yes, I have to agree, Beck, is telling it the way it is....the facts are difficult for the liberals to accept, mainly because their whole existence is based on illusionary interpretation of reality.....
Zogby has long been on my list of anti-American people to round up and send back to their natal hell holes. His advice to people who don't want Islam to take over our country is to lie back and enjoy it. Of course, his would be one of the first heads to roll, although he envisions himself as one of the Islamic powers that be. His polling is so lame I have come to seriously doubt anyone is actually contacted and asked questions. I think he just makes it all up. Whenever he comes on one of the TV talking head shows, I exercise my right, in a democracy, to change the channel.
Zogby is dishonest, propagandistic scum. I have no brief for Glenn Beck (never watch the Crummy News Network) but Zogby ought to focus his energies on performing some honest, accurate polling (for maybe the first time in his life) instead of attacking anyone who dares to criticize Islamo-fascist jackals and the fools (like Zogby) who enable them.
CNN is losing it's integrity? Lol- this is rich- No Zogby, CNN, for one hour a night, loses it's biased moronic agenda driven message, and people are tuning in during this hour and then leaving when it's up. you're upset over this obviously- but railing about the man, and throwing lies at him isn't going to help your message any. Incase you hadn't noticed Zogby- people are sick and tired of your ilk peddling lies. Beck doesn't rail against Islam, he rails against Islamic radicals- which sadly- incase you hadn't discovered, includes nearly 90% of Islamics.
I don't particularly care for the Glenn Beck show myself, too alarmist endtime oriented- it's just non stop with him- while it's all true, it just gets overwhelming to listen to all the time. But he is getting an important message out, and CNN and Zogby are scared whitless that the truth is getting to the masses.

If Glen Beck has them riled up I'd say he has hit a nerve because he is right in what he is saying.
I've been listening to Glenn since he was put on the radio the week after 9/11 here. I think he has some great points about radical Islam and has done his homework.
This writer Zogby can criticize Glenn all he wants. It just gets Beck's name out there for more people to hear and maybe they will listen to him on radio or TV.
Keep up the good work Glen.

The delicious iron is that Zogby is totally aware that this hatchet piece of an article will probable enhance Beck's reputation (and hopefully ratings) among true Americans. The majojrity understand that Beck is right on target.
'Moderate Muslims', the silent majority could 'out' the terrorists if they were so inclined.
Aren't they purported to make up 90%? Pretty big odds.
I've come to believe the vast majority of Muslims support the terrorists aims.
Maybe not with arms, money, vocalizations, but they do support them.

I'm not a big Glen Beck fan, but his position is based on facts which are irrefutable. There is no argument possible with the premise above, and James Zogby knows it--which is probably why he, like all moslem apologists, ducks the question and goes for the ad hominem attack. Some day there will be a day of reckoning, and when it comes, the James Zogbys and Ibrahim Hoopers of the world will be held accountable for their attempts at criminal sabotage of freedom.
