If you think that disarming the populace, even if it is "limited" to "assault weapons" will make us safer from terrorists then go for it.
I see some hint of illogic there.
That Palestinian ten years ago bought a gun in Florida, where many people have guns, then went to New York City to have his Sudden Jihad Syndrome moment- a place where Rudy "used gun control" to keep people safe (and disarmed), then urged us to deny RKBA to legal citizens because some terrorist may get a gun and hurt one of us.
Using a clearly defined terror incident to push civilian disarmament suggests that he is not the one to keep us safe from terrorism, if he uses terror events to push his anti-gun agenda. Even after the NYT published the Palestinian's Jihad suicide note, Rudy did not back down on his insistence that we needed more gun control.

Your kind of stupid logic is EXACTLY how we wound up in the mess we are. Conservatives USED to win on conservative values. Now they are all half baked and RINO or flat ass liars.

It is interesting to me in retrospect that Bill Clinton governed as a centrist. And that Richard Nixon gave us conservative rhetoric but liberal action in civil rights, environmental and economic initiatives. And that even Ronald Reagan had a little streak of centrist in him when he gave amnesty to 2.7 million illegal aliens.
Americans tend to vote for Rinos and/or Dinos for president.

I think he will appoint tough law and order judges
Yes, and he would not take being trashed by MSM and libs lying down. They are a piece of cake compared to the Five Family mafia he took down that no one dared to do.
Some think the MSM is pushing him on us. He will be the media's worst nightmare and they know it. He can be political while NOT being PC.

I'd never trust, let alone vote for, any politician that doesn't think responsible, law abiding people have a right to defend themselves. "Conservative' or liberal. Never.

I'm the kind of Republican who would consider someone like Ann Coulte and Hugh Hewitt to be my mouthpiece. I support pro-gun, pro-Life candidates. It will be agony for me to vote for a pro-abortion candidate. I'm not pro-abortion. This time around, I have a sense that voting for Rudy G., I won't necessarily be voting pro-abortion. I will be voting in favor of saving the life of the mother...Lady Liberty.

Stick around and read below. The FRaliban have found numerous reasons to hate him.

Yes. He wants to conserve abortion rights, abortion, gun control, RoevWade, and the homosexual agenda. In that sense he is a conservative.

If Rudy wins, it doesn't matter how liberal he is on some issues because presidents don't make the laws.
It does matter because he will also be the leader of the Republican party and therefore he will have considerable influence on the party's core principles. Having him as President would not bode well for Conservatives.

OMG! By my count, this is the 5th time this article has been posted. Steve Malanga is a first class Giuliani sycophant. Malanga is vying with Deroy Murdock for who is the bigger Giuliani butt kisser. LOL
These guys can keep posting their hackneyed rhetoric, it won't make Rudy a conservative, not now, not ever! Rudy was born a liberal and will die a liberal. Everything in between, is pure liberalism.

I think Rudy Giuliani displays an understanding of the issue.
Urban areas in general have tighter gun laws than rural counties and communities. He understood that as mayor.
He also understands the difference between the role of mayor and that of president, who must govern both cities and villages. I feel my carry permit is safe with Rudy as president.
(And as an added benefit: he'll be going on offense against Radical Islamic groups...Rudy is going to take them down like he took down the mob!)

Great phrase...FRaliban. Totally accurate.
I have yet to see one Rudy supporter say they will not vote for any of the other Republican nominees if they win the primaries. The FRaliban, well we know what they'll do since they have stated it clearly.

There are economic conservatives (who are neutral or pliable on other issues), and there are social conservatives (who are neutral or pliable on other issues).
The republican party is filled with different types of conservatives, and liberals.
Nixon was liberal on many issues. So was Ronald Reagan.
There is a range of consensus on issues important to conservatives.
If I looked up conservative in the dictionary, whose picture is used as an example?

Call me a one-issue nut.. please!
What are the ties between Mr. Giuliani and two of Mexico's richest men Carlos Slim and Carlos Hank González? Just asking. But will he -- or anyone -- answer without the customary contumely?
Yes, I know about the Mexico City contract, are there other ties / commitments / promises?
Mr. Giuliani has demonstrated his contempt for our heritage as a Nation of laws not men by embracing ILLEGAL aliens, ID thieves, fraudulent document users, perjurers -- what's a little shenanigans vis-a-vis other foreign interests?
Proud to be a one-issue nut -- I sincerely believe that a Nation of laws not men is pretty damn important.
