The city has more culture per square mile than perhaps any other place in the US. In that respect is it like Paris.

In Paris, the alleyways often stink of urine. That is another trait the cities share.

I will gladly and earnestly praise the arts, culture, and cuisine that can be found there...but I will have none of the political climate, and I've no interest in seeing Gotham's political sensibilities exported to the national stage.
