The author of this vanity appears on most Rudy threads and goes on and on about how he hates NYC...wants to have a fox hunt in Central Park (yeah, that would go over big). Anyway, I have invited him many times for a night on the town, but he refuses me. Maybe we can send him a hot dog and a pretzel to cheer him up.

The “high” culture in NYC is guarded and contained in museums and a few theaters. The “low” culture is about as low as or lower you’ll get anywhere.
So big deal about NYC already...there is plenty of “culture” everywhere in the US...often times lots more interesting and wholesome than the crap there.

Is it any wonder that Islamakazis hate America when many Americans hate NYC. Same mind set, different target. Personally I love the city but don’t think one can understand it unless they work there. No place on Earth quite like it.
No need to worry about the old sniper. I think he passed out after the last keystroke.

Swamp your right. Whatever it is that NYC is offering, I canmake do without. I get invited up there twice a year, they seriously can’t understand why I won’t so much as set foot there.

Oh, old Swamps cracks me up. I have never heard a NYC FReeper put down or make a wise crack at another based on where he or she lived. I guess some people just don’t get out much.

Grew up in Brooklyn. Then lived in rural Northern California for a couple of decades. Then moved back to NYC. Man, I hated having to come back.
But the experience gave me an appreciation for both rural and city life.
That’s why now I work in the city and live on 25 acres just 1 hour North of Manhattan, baby!!!
Oh, and I vote Republican.

Hold on pal, RR went to france to honor American soldiers that are buried in france. It was the 40th anniversary of the Normandy invasion and not to suck up to the frogs.Get your history straight.

Hehe I hear ya. Well NYC is a big and easy target. I give the FR folks there credit for living behind enemy lines. :-) I left in 1990 but still remember the good old (younger) days. A ton of money in my pocket and endless things to do. Wouldn't’t trade those days for anything.

Cmon, tell the truth, you or somebody else is behind the sofa holding that can!The photo is our cat Icky who would balance a soda on his head. He didn't like it but he would freeze if you stuck a can of soda on his head.

Reagan and Bush 41 also came to NYC to meet with Gorby. I’ll never forget that day; it was so exciting!

Pets can do the oddest tricks. Of course, it’s the people who decide to try balancing a coke can on their cat’s head in the first place.
