Susan threw Juanita Broaddrick under the bus, repeatedly.

I would like to hear someone in the media compare Scooter Libby’s crime and punishment to Sandy Burgler’s crime and punishment. Talk about political persecution. I hope Libby wins on appeal. This should never have been prosecuted. The whole thing was a sham.

Hating does more harm to the hater than to the hated, it eats you from within.

Yep. Which brings to mind this quick but insightful morality play:

Two Wolves

An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.

"I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do. But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times."

He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.

"But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.

"Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."

The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"

The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."

Hope she is thinking that paybacks will be a bitch, because Republicans/Conservatives grassroots are bloodthirsty now, finally.

I will elect no man or woman who is not ruthless towards the Dims and the MSM, it will be the new litmus test.

I don’t disagree with anything she wrote, but it was people she supports, Democrats who created the Special Prosecutor monster we’re living with now.

“Valerie Plame’s career has been ruined.”

That’s a joke!

>>What makes it even more contemptible is all that time Fitzgerald knew who the real leaker was and never bothered to bring him to justice.

There was no one to bring to justice for the leak, because there was no leak, under the terms of the law, since Plame wasn’t covert, under those terms.

Is Susan becoming one of us, albeit very gradually?

Does make ya wonder. She's been surprising me more often lately.

I think she’s just a liberal with some semblance of sanity and common sense. Alan Colmes shows glimmers of that as well.

James Carville has been supportive of Libby as well. It's an issue of the most basic intellectual consistency -- Carville and Estrich argued that perjury when no underlying crime was established was not sufficient grounds to impeach Clinton, and now they're saying it's not sufficient grounds to imprison Libby.

It's a refreshing sign to see people place reason above party. It's a sad commentary on our political climate that we can't avoid being surprised by it.

Patrick Fitzgerald.

I finally gave in to temptation and started making the old joke “and his ‘long-time companion,’ Gerald Fitzpatrick.”

I’m not a grammar nazi, and I take no joy in pointing out errors; Lord knows I let my typing fingers race ahead of my brain all the time. I mentioned it only in case someone else who’s relatively new to the story wants to do a search.

Well, this surprises me from Susan, and she makes some reasonable observations.

It is a shame that Libby didn't turn this kind of witch hunt to his advantage.

He should have recognized that the prosecutor and judge are worse than the Stalinists that engaged in the show trials in the old Soviet Union, and used 5th and immunity and refusal to resign to force Bush to grow a pair.

No, Susan isn’t becoming one of us, and she’ll do some shameless spin every once in a while, but she’ll also occasionally be fair and objective, as she is here. And she seems to have a sense of humor.

Susan realizes that a different prosecutor might be interested in prosecuting Tim Russert for the exact same thing and she likes Tim.

You could bring Libby in to impeach Russert's testimony.

Alan Colmes you say!!!! He hasn`t said anything sensible in years. What about Hannity???

Hannity is for Rudy and Arnold, so I assume he must now be pro choice/pro gay and anti gun???

I only call them as I see em. I have been saying for years, if you support pro abortion candidates, then you are not pro life.

As for Susan....She says Valerie Plames career has been destroyed??? I disagree, she is right where she wants to be, book deals, movie deals etc.
