Ironic that a mild-mannered ex-Democrat with the voice of Eeyore is now the hawk, isn’t it? The other parties are too busy working on amnesty I guess.
In the meantime, hopefully the Sunnis will continue to want to defeat Al Qaeda and continue to hate the Iranians.
These son of a b’s have been KILLING our troops in Iraq and due to F-ing political B.S. we give them a pass?
Kill em dammit.
What are we waiting for, a hall pass from the U.N?
“Kerry-over” of the “global test” perhaps...?
OK, Mr. Lieberman.
Now you line up overwhelming support for this with your friends in Congress and the MSM. You get Congress to make a declaration of war, and to provide unlimited funding for the War against Iran. You get the draft re-instituted to get the manpower for it.
It’s so easy to talk. Let’s see Lieberman submit S.1433 “A Declaration of War with the State of Iran”. Don’t hold your breath. Lieberman showed his true colors on national security when he gave all out support for the Amnesty Bill last week.
where was good ol joe in the amnesty debate?
solidly with the amnesty and open borders crowd
All those elites in Stamford and Groton need that cheap labor for their businesses and yards.
BTTT
I believe he sided with the President.
gets real hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. I’ll take Roy Rogers.
Too bad Ike or TR or even Reagan aren’t in the White House today. Can’t live in the past, though.
I’ve posted a couple times we could solve a buncha problems by re-instating the draft tomorrow, passing amnesty the next day with the stipulation that new immigrants would go to the front of the lottery. Including women.
Lieberman is a traditional liberal - back from the days when that didn’t mean that you were a wimp on defense. It’s not inconsistent to be both liberal and strongly for what’s in our national interest. It’s just that the modern democrat party has gone over the edge and began rooting for the defeat of their own country. I think he’s the only sane democrat left in elected office.
if he is for the amnesty bill, than he is rooting for our defeat.
he certainly is not a JFK era liberal.
