I believe that “open borders” people may feel sincere bleeding heart compassion, but what they advocate facilitates human trafficking, including children, for prostitution.
On June 16 I went to the Texas state capitol for an anti-amnesty rally. There were also about 10 counter-demonstrators, one of whom had a sign saying “Close the Hutto facility.” The Hutto Family Residential Facility is a place where people detained by ICE live temporarily, before deportation or immigration hearings. So these “pro-immigrant” activists want ICE to simply release adult illegals and the children, who may or may not be family members, they are smuggling.
I believe that such a policy would encourage more exploitation of both women and children. Ironic for such “compassionate” activists.

It seems closer to Nolensville Road. Over where I am, it has gone from nearly all-White to majority working-to-lower middle class Black. A few Hispanic families, but not very many. Unfortunately, most of my neighbors have split for the suburban ring counties and we don’t really know any of our new neighbors anymore. :-\
Well, since I’m in California right now, and that’s got the largest number of illegal immigrants per capita, almost any other state would have to be an improvement.
