Maine apparently doesn’t have enough illegals to qualify for the list, yet I see scouts in the supermarkets and in front of the day labor outfit that just appeared this last year. It’s gotten so that even here in central Maine, I hear Spanish and Spanglish spoken at least once a day.

We were up there two years ago for my son’s graduation for Navy bootcamp. I couldn’t believe the number of hispanics in Walmart! We wondered if we’d somehow arrived in Mexico! The announcements were made in spanish. A lot of the people working there were mexican as well.
Also, it has to be the dirtiest, messiest Walmart I’ve ever been in. I apologize for the stereotyping, but I have truly never seen anything like it. Bathrooms dirty and the paper towel and toilet paper dispensers broken and hanging open

I apologize if I offend any Americans of Hispanic descent here. I have just never been in a Walmart that looked like that before!
