Bloomberg is definitely no fiscal conservative, or any kind of libertarian.

Didn’t Morris predict that Hillery would be defeated in the NYC Senatorial run (subtract NYC from NY State, and she would never have had a chance).

Hilly ran the table and kicked Lazio's butt in the 2000 election - she won almost every sub-vote handily. She would have won even without nyc.

When was the last time Morris was right about something? I’m serious. Or series. Your choice.

It did sound like he's looking for a job. Books not doing as well as he thought?

OTOH, he could be looking to break Shrum's record on advising successful campaigns.

Morris dislikes social conservatives. The idea that a bloomberg run could actually increase the chances of a conservative (fiscal-social-energy-security) win completely eludes him for that reason. he’s the one that said a few years ago if the GOP wanted to remain relevant it needed to deemphasize the social conservative platform. Too bad he didn’t tell the dems, since they ran around the last election pretending to be the faithful.

Now that McCain’s out, and rudy is slipping while fred is rising. and dems have NO enthusiasm for Hillary even though she’s a woman! he’s desperate for an alternative.

I think Dick was on a trip to The Twilight Zone when he wrote this one. Bloomberg hasn’t got a prayer.

Why does Sean Hannity waste any time with this publicity seeking, foot fetish fool? This guy must love the sound of his own voice. His grotesque New Jersey dialect mixed with his know it all insider attitude is a real negative for Fox and Hannity. Then again, Hannity has his major drawbacks as well. Like, not knowing when to shut the “#$%@* uP”. His cheerleader like ravings mirror Morris’ obnoxious ravings. They both belong together and they both belittle whatever point they are attemting to make.

DM is only good for one thing......dinner.

Ask Bill O’R. They had a dinner bet on Arnold taking the CA governorship.

Bill O put on the feed bag and DM paid.

It would be great news for conservatives if Bloomberg ran.He would do for Hunter-Thompson-even Romney what Perot did for Clinton in 1992.

If people paid attention when illegal immigration first ramped up last month, Morris was all pro the bill, it was a shoo in, and had wide popular support

...per Morris

...if we didn't get on board asap, talk radio and the base would shooting them self in the foot and marginalizing themselves...

How things change in a month

I thought no one could beat hillary because of her sex!!

What an awful mental image...hillary and sex in the same sentence.

You could neuter your cat or dog just by exposing them to her picture.

They don't make any Viagra strong enough to counter that thought.

That is what I think. If Bloomberg runs, it would behoove the Republican party to field a ticket that is clearly conservative and to paint him as another Liberal. It would serve the Dims right. If it weren’t for Perot, Clinton would never have been elected the first time.

I really like the Dick Morris-Mickey Mouse connection. Maybe that should be his new logo. "Dicky Morris" playing the role of Mickey Mouse.

RE: “Hilly ran the table and kicked Lazio’s butt in the 2000 election - she won almost every sub-vote handily. She would have won even without nyc.”

I place blame for that squarely upon Gilligan. After he withdrew from the Senate race (while leading in the polls), he did little, if anything, to support Lazio, support the Republican Party in the state or to help defeat her.

Lazio jumped in and used his resources as best he could, but Giuliani retained significant campaign contributions that should have been used to defeat the dimocrat party candidate. I believe that Rudy made a calculated decision to keep the campaign contributions he had received to defeat ‘the former president’s significant other’ for his own future political use.

But for 9-11, Rudy would have remained an unpopular former mayor entitled to some small, begrudging acknowledgment of his efforts during the time the crime rate in NYC declined.
