Yes, we believe God has a perfected physical body with flesh and bone as demonstrated when Jesus appeared to his disciples as a resurrected being. This physical body was in the presence of God and could not be defiled as stated when Mary in the garden wanted to touch the Lord and he instructed her not touch him since his body has not yet been with God yet (think about it, God the Father was in a physical location where the physical God the Son must arrive in his physical body).

Second question:

We like most faiths believe that Satan was a created spirit. God the Father created all spirits. However, Jesus NOR Satan in the pre-existence did not have a physical body. Therefore they did not a physical mother. Your argument lacks understanding of our fundamentals.

DO THEY REALLY BELIEVE THAT?

by Ed Decker

We are often asked, "Do the Mormons really believe those things, or have you dug up old material from some obscure past to make your points?" The question might be, "Aren't you flogging a dead horse The average Mormon family wouldn't know anything about that stuff! Why don't you make reference to something that someone below the rank of an apostle would have access to?"

It is our position that the very basic doctrines of Mormonism clearly separate it from Christian orthodoxy. No matter how many times the LDS church uses the name of Christ, they are, without a shadow of a doubt, completely outside Christianity.

They worship a different god, have a different Jesus, and a very different Holy Spirit. Mormons are polytheists in the highest sense. Not only do they teach that there are countless other gods, they teach that man may also attain godhood through "obedience to the (Mormon) laws and ordinances of the gospel."

The simplest expression of this is why the Church calls the "Law of Eternal Progression:" "As man is, God once was; as God is, man may become."

In order to show that the support documentation for this doctrine is readily available to the average, active, LDS family, we have listed Mormonism's basic heresies and have documented them from books and materials that an LDS family would have in its home.

NATURE OF GOD

Achieving Celestial Marriage Manual (abbreviated ACCM), p.129.

God was once a mortal man. He lived on a planet like our own. He experienced conditions similar to our own and advanced step by step.

MORMON DOCTRINE (abbreviated MD), p.322.

Late LDS apostle Bruce R. McConkie wrote [quoting Joseph Smith]: "Further, as the Prophet also taught, there is ëa god above the father of our Lord Jesus Christ...If Jesus Christ was the son of God, and John discovered that God the Father of Jesus Christ had a father also...Was there ever a son without a father?"

ACMM, p.3.

What you are saying is that God became God by obedience to the Gospel program, which culminates in eternal marriage? [answer] Yes.

D&C 130:22.

God has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's.

ACMM, p.129.

God is now an exalted man with powers of eternal increase. He lives in an exalted Marriage relationship.

ACMM, p.129-130.

We are the literal Children of God, a part of his family unit. We lives with our heavenly parents before coming to earth.

ACMM, p.4.

...giving birth to spirit children and setting them on the road to exaltation. And if this is to be done, you must have an exalted man and an exalted woman.

MD, p.239

God continues to progress, as his creations expand and his spirit offspring multiply.

PRE-EXISTENCE

and our First Estate

Moses 3:5-7 (Pearl of Great Price)

Every form of life was created spiritually in Kolob first.

Abraham 3:22-23 (Pearl of Great Price)

At first we were all spirit children, living in the presence of God, our heavenly father.

JESUS THE CHRIST, pp.15-16

Apostle James Talmage's detailed explanation of the primeval council of the Gods.

Abraham 3:23-28 (Pearl of Great Price)

A Council called of all the leading spirits.

Abraham 4:25-26

God proposed a plan for our progression.

Abraham 3:24-26, Doctrine & Covenants 29:39.

That plan was for us to come to earth, gain physical bodies, learn good from evil and have the free agency to choose which we wanted to follow.

Moses 4:1-4, Abraham 3:27-28 (Pearl of Great Price)

Lucifer, our elder brother who desired the glory for himself, stood up and proposed his own plan.

Ensign (official Church magazine), December, 1980, pp.3-5.

"Jesus of Nazareth", Spencer W. Kimball, First Presidency Message: "His [Jesus'] trials were continuous. Perhaps his brother, Lucifer, had heard him say when he was still but a lad of 12, 'Whist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?'" (Luke 2:49)

"...Then came the time when Satan thought to trip him. Their encounter in the previous world had been on more equal terms, but now Jesus was young and Satan was experienced."

Moses 4:1-3 (Pearl of Great Price)

Lucifer's plan was to take away our free agency, force us to obey all the law. He wanted us to worship him.

Moses 4:2

Jesus stood and offered himself as our sin-offering, giving man his free agency and the chance to attain eternal glory, or godhood with heavenly father.

Abraham 3:28

All the council voted No to Lucifer and Yes to Jesus.

Abraham 3:28, D&C 29:36-37.

Lucifer, very angry, persuaded one-third of the spirit children to follow him and rebel against God and the plan of Jesus. They were cast from God's presence and sent to this earth without bodies of flesh and bone.

MD, p.828, D&C 29:36-41

Describes the war in heaven, Lucifer sent here to earth where he continues to battle against the saints.

MD, pp.526-528, Moses 5:16-41, 7:8-22.

Those who were least valiant in the pre-existence are known in mortality as negroes. They came to earth through the lineage of Cain, with black skin.

CREATION OF THE EARTH

and our Second Estate

D&C 77:12, Moses 1:39, Abraham 3:19.

The earth was created, in the same fashion of many worlds, populated by intelligent people, in his image. Man would always be learning and growing.

Abraham 2:28

God tells Abraham about the control center, Kolob.

Moses 6:51-68; 3:17, 4:12-13

The LDS version of the Garden of Eden account.

2 Nephi 9:25-26, Alma 42:17-21.

The earth is controlled by laws. If we break one, we must be punished.

Moses 4:29-31

Adam and Eve are cast out of the Garden.

Moses 5:6-9

They learn that their transgression was necessary that man might live. Adam is baptized, received the Holy Ghost and the priesthood. He becomes the first patriarch.

MD, p.546-547.

Our Lord is the only Son of the Father in the flesh. Each word is to be understood literally. Christ was begotten by an immortal father in the same way that mortal men are begotten by mortal fathers.

MD, p.742.

God is an immortal personage...Christ is his literal son...there is nothing figurative about his paternity...He was begotten, conceived and born in the normal and natural course of events.

ACMM, p.235.

The Lord is now sending the Choicest Spirits to earth. "I see an improvement each few years in the young people of the church. I believe that you are the cream of all the spirits in the hosts of heaven and God has sent you here to do a great work."óMark E. Peterson (apostle) BYU address.

GODHOOD

The Third Estate

MD, p.321

That exaltation which the saints of all ages have so devoutly sought is Godhood itself.

MD, p.321

"You have got to learn how to be gods yourselves...the same as all gods have done before you." (quoting Joseph Smith)

HISTORY OF THE CHURCH, (HC) vol.6, p.306, by Joseph Smith.

My Father worked out His Kingdom with fear and trembling, and I must do the same; and when I get my kingdom, I shall present it to my Father, so that He may obtain Kingdom upon Kingdom, and it will exalt Him in glory. He will then take a higher exaltation, and I will take His place, and thereby become exalted myself.

ACMM, p.3.

If God became God by obedience to all of the gospel law with the crowning point being the celestial law of marriage, then that's the only way I can become a god. [answer] Right!

ACMM, p.203.

(12-15) The endowment is the celestial course of instruction...being enabled to give them the key words, the signs and tokens, pertaining to the priesthood and gain your eternal exaltation in spite of earth and hell.

D&C 124:28-36; 127:128; 128:15

Baptism for the dead/keys to the holy priesthood ordained so you may receive honor and glory. For their salvation [the dead] is necessary and essential to our salvation.

D&C 131.

Three degrees of gloryócelestial the highest.

Moses 1:39

This is my [God's] work and my gloryóto bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man

D&C 76:51-60, 70.

vs.51-53 list some of the requirements, vs.54-60, 70 list the rewards. They [temple Mormons] will be Kings and Priests and Gods.

D&C 132:19-20.

Then shall they be Gods, they shall have all power, the angels are subject to them.

ACMM, pp.131-132.

(1-12) The Lord commands marriage.

(1-13) Exaltation is based on celestial marriage.

(1-14) Then shall they be Gods, because they have no end.

(1-15) Only resurrected and glorified Beings may become Parents of Spirit Offspring.

(1-17) Celestial marriage prepares men to be Kings and Priests unto God.

(1-18) Celestial marriage makes women Queens and Priestesses to their husbands.

(1-19) Celestial marriage makes it possible for us to claim our moral children in eternity as well as to propagate ourselves throughout eternity.

D&C 132:1-7, 27-35, 49, 61-64.

New and Everlasting Covenant [plural marriage]: Abide or be damned, etc. Law of the Priesthood/also the name of the temple covenant sworn by all the temple endowment sisters.

MD, p.529-530.

Celestial marriage is the new and everlasting covenant of marriage.

JOSEPH SMITH

Come unto Christ, Melchizedek Priesthood Manual, 1984, pp.126-132.

If we get our salvation, we shall have to pass by him [Joseph Smith]; if we enter our glory, it will be through the authority that he has received. We cannot get around him.

D&C 1:17-18; 35:17.

God called Joseph Smith and commanded him to proclaim the gospel...Fullness of gospel set forth by Joseph Smith.

HC, vol.6, pp.408-409.

[Joseph Smith speaking] I have more to boast of than any man ever had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.

HC, vol.6, p.78.

[Joseph Smith] I combat the error of ages; I meet the violence of mobs; ...I cut the Gordian knot of powers, and I solve mathematical problems of universities, with truthódiamond truth; and God is my "right hand man."

HC, vol.6, p.319.

[Joseph Smith] God made Aaron to be the mouthpiece for the children of Israel, and He will make me to god to you in His stead, and the Elders to be mouth for me; and if you don't like it, you must lump it.

"Long shall his [Joseph Smith's] blood which was shed by assassins plead unto heaven while the earth lauds his fame."

"Joseph the Seer"

"He pleads their cause in the courts above...He died, he died for those he loved...He reigns, he reigns in the realms above...Unchanged in death with a Saviour's love, he pleads their cause in the courts above...The Saints, The Saints, his only pride, For them he lived, for them he died."

D&C 135:1-7.

To seal the testimony of this book (The D&C) and the Book of Mormon, we announce the martyrdom of Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Hyrum Smith, the Patriarch...It shall be said of me, He was murdered in cold blood.

#24—What the Mormons think of Christ

http://www.saintsalive.com/mormonism/apologeticsindex.htm

Thank you for sending us a copy of the LDS pamphlet, “What the Mormons Think of Christ.” To answer your question, no they have not changed their beliefs. In fact, the pamphlet is old. It was being handed out when I was a Mormon in the early 1980’s and had been around awhile then. The problem with the pamphlet is that it, like virtually everything the Mormons give out to the “gentiles,” (non-LDS) is very subtle and deceptive. However, if you can wade through the pious-sounding rhetoric, you will find the same old Mormon heresies imbedded in the text. I’m underlining some of the key passages for you and returning a photocopy of it to you with my comments.

Right on page 1 we have a subtle allusion to the LDS doctrine that God the Father conceived Jesus the same “literal” way we were conceived by our parents—through physical intimacy with Mary. Like much in this pamphlet, it doesn’t come out and say that, but a Mormon (or an ex-Mormon) reading it would recognize the teaching.

On pp.2-3, we have a delicate but real attack on the inerrancy of the Bible; and bring up the common Mormon lie about “many translations and versions” of the Bible which vary from one another. The Mormon writer does not tell you that there is not a dime’s worth of difference between most true Bible translations or versions; any more than that there is any real difference between an English Book of Mormon and a German Book of Mormon.

Page 9 contains another subtle teaching of the blasphemous doctrine of God having sex with Mary to produce Jesus. Aside from numerous quotations from the LDS scriptures (which are fraudulent) the next 18 pages are relatively innocuous. The Mormon author knows that few people will have the patience to finish the entire pamphlet, and so puts his best foot forward first and saves the big heresies for the end.

Page 27 begins the assault upon the glorious Pauline doctrine of salvation by grace and grace alone (Eph.2:8-9; Rom.3:20-23; 6:23, 11:6). The LDS teaching is clearly promulgated here that it is by faith and obedience that we are saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Mormon gospel.

Page 28 teaches the damnable lie that salvation by grace is only salvation from death through resurrection, and that that is all that Jesus’ sacrifice bought us. Page 29 continues the conditional nature of the Mormons’ “grace” by teaching “IF ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness…THEN is his grace sufficient for you…” In other words, grace is free, but it must be earned through obedience (???)

Page 31 begins the assault in earnest, under the heading “The Blood of Christ.” Here you will see that the Bible doctrine of salvation by trusting in the blood of Jesus is called “…such utter nonsense and so palpably false that to believe it is to lose one’s salvation.” No, the Mormons haven’t changed.

In the final paragraph, the Mormons even try to move the atonement away from the cross (which the devil hates to mention) to the Garden of Gethsemane. It says that there Jesus took on the sins of the world “conditionally” which is utterly false. There was nothing conditional about the atonement, nor did it take place anywhere but on Calvary’s hill. (John 19:30). When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He meant it! He paid the bill in full at that moment! He did not say, “It is finished, but…” John 6:47 says that we who believe in Him “HAVE” eternal life—present tense—right now!

Pages 32-33 continue the heresy by reasserting that there are “conditions” attached to the atoning blood of Christ, and that those conditions are (beyond faith) baptism, and “enduring to the end.”

Page 35 moves on, teaching the heretical LDS doctrine of “pre-existence” that we were all born spiritually to a heavenly Father and heavenly Mother before we can to earth to get our physical tabernacles (bodies). From here on, things get pretty tame again; although there is a nasty slam against “sectarian dogmatism” (ie. Biblical Christianity) on the bottom of page 43.

Page 44 contains another denial of the Virgin Birth of Jesus. Page 45 contains further blasphemy by linking faith in Christ with faith in His supposed Latter-day prophets. In simpler words, you can’t believe in Jesus without believing in Joseph Smith, which adds still another “condition” to salvation.

The pamphlets ends with a resounding lie, promising the potential Mormon a “…sure hope of eternal exaltation in the life to come.” Translated out of “Mormonese,” that means that Mormons have a sure hope of attained godhood in eternity; and nothing could be further from the truth. Aside from the fact that no man can become a god, since there is now and ever shall be only one God (Deut.6:4, Isaiah 43:10); I have yet to meet an actual Mormon who even has the “sure hope.”

No Mormon, not even the saintliest old stake patriarch has a “sure hope” of attaining exaltation. Most Mormons I knew frankly admitted that they were reasonably certain they would never make it to exaltation; and the statistics from the Church’s own records bear that out. No Mormon knows when they are going when they die; because all they have to trust in is “conditional” salvation—conditional in their own righteousness, which the Bible says are as “filthy rags” in the sight of a holy and just God (Isaiah 64:6).

No, the Mormons haven’t changed.

Like a Jihadist, a typical worldview of Satanists is immoral and justifies immoral behavior.

Whereas a Mormon’s worldview like an Evangicaly is moral and seeks to strengthen moral behavior.

So, if your arguments against a Mormon candidate could focus on morality, then you would gain more traction. Of course if they are not based in fact but wishful thinking on your part then it is bigotry.

Witness what Muslims say about Jews? They vigorously argue that Jews are immoral but they have no foundation in fact. Unfortunately, I think that you, Enosh, fit in that category.

One final question: Why do you refute the advice and example of Jesus of giving political respect to the heathen and the herectic?

I hope Utah becomes an issue, they voted for Reagan by a higher percentage than any other state. 1980 72% and 1984 74%. In 1992 Clinton came in third in Utah the only State he did so.

They have the highest proportions of Republican party membership as well as third party Constitutional voters. I wish the rest of the country would take a page out of the Utah book.

5) CONVERSION OF THE INDIAN PEOPLES.

In D&C 3.3 (1828) it says, “Remember, that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men.” This verse is considered sacred scripture by Mormons; and that means that Mormons, logically, must apply it to their history and Joseph Smith’s prophecies. If Smith’s prophecies were frustrated, then those prophecies were the work of men, not of God!

D&C 3.16-20 says that the Lamanites (Indians) will be converted. For a century and a half, the LDS missionaries have been trying to convert their “Lamanite brothersî and have not done so. The vast majority of Indians are not Mormons, and most of the few who become LDS turn inactive. This has obviously not been fulfilled, after many years and spending vast amounts of money on programs to convert Indians.

6) WHITE AND DELIGHTSOME INDIANS.

Speaking of the Lamanites, the Book of Mormon (BOM) contains a prophecy about them which can easily be put to the test. 2 Nephi 30.6 prophesies that the Indians who converted would turn “white and delightsome” a few generations after joining the church. This is what is written in the original, handwritten manuscript of 2 Nephi 30. It is in the original 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon.

However, in 1840, Joseph Smith, evidently thinking to correct the “most correct book ever written,” ordered the phrase changed to “pure and delightsome.” Then later, Brigham Young ordered it changed back to “white and delightsome.” Then in 1981, it was again changed back to “pure and delightsome”, even though the correction does not clean up the parts of the BOM where they are turned from white and delightsome to “dark and loathsome.”

A honest reader would have to speculate that since over 160 years have passed (4 Biblical generations) since Indians began joining the church, that at least some of them would have to turned at least a little whiter. None of them have; and this is evidently why they changed the verse without so much as a word of explanation.

37) NASA, PHONE JOSEPH SMITH!

Joseph Smith, not content with banking; also tried his hand at exo-biology and astronomy. He declared in 1837: “Inhabitants of the Moon are more of a uniform size than the inhabitants of the Earth, being about 6 feet in height. They dress very much like the Quaker Style & and quite general in Style, or the one fashion of dress. They live to be very old; coming generally near a thousand years. This is the description of them as given by Joseph Smith the Seer.

Although Mormons will try and deny that Joseph Smith ever really taught this nonsense, they will find it confirmed from Brigham Young; who also taught it; and added that there were people also living in the sun! Obviously, modern science has condemned these prophecies to the ashcan of bad science fiction!

41) JESUS’ RETURN

Joseph Smith made this reference to the Second Coming of Jesus: “Were I going to prophesy, I would say the end [of the world] would not come in 1844, 5 or 6, or in forty years. There are those of the rising generation who shall not taste death till Christ comes.

“I was once praying earnestly upon this subject, and a voice said unto me, “My son, if thou livest until thou art eighty-five years of age, thou shalt see the face of the Son of Man.” I was left to draw my own conclusions concerning this, and I took the liberty to conclude that if I did live to that time, He would make His appearance. But I do not say whether He will make His appearance or I shall go where He is. I prophesy in the name of the Lord God, and let it be writtenóthe Son of Man will not come in the clouds of heaven till I am eighty-five years old.”[48 years hence or about 1890…]

Interestingly enough, this passage is taken from Smith’s diary; and modern LDS “historians” have removed the phrase “48 years hence or about 1890” because it so clearly demonstrates the falsity of the prophecy .

Obviously, none of the “rising generation” ever saw Jesus’ coming. Jesus certainly did not come in “about 1890.” A century has passed since that date; and Smith’s prophecy lies dead and buried along with that “rising generation.”

51) WAS LYMAN WIGHT RIGHT?

Although not as directly involving Smith as the previous 50 prophecies have, this incident in 1831 during an ordination ceremony of Lyman Wight done by Smith shows that he taught and believed that Jesus would come within a generation: “The Spirit of the Lord fell upon Joseph in an unusual manner, and he prophesied that John the Revelator was then among the Ten Tribes of Israel…He prophesied many more things I have not written. After he had prophesied, he laid his hands upon Lyman Wight and ordained him to the High Priesthood, after the holy order of God. And the Spirit fell upon Lyman and he prophesied concerning the coming of Christ. He said that there were some in the congregation that should live until the Savior should descend from heaven with a shout, with all the holy angels with him.”

As we have had to observe many times before here, all the people of that generation have been in their graves for years. And Jesus hasn’t come. According to the Bible, if Joseph Smith had disagreed with Lyman’s prophecy, or felt he was off-base; he should have corrected himóespecially since he was the “senior prophet”, rather than let false teaching go abroad into the congregation while he was present.(1 Cor.14:29) Smith was not usually shy about rebuking those he disagreed with, and he let this prophecy stand, primarily because it agreed with several of his own.

No. I wouldn’t vote for true-believing Satanist because he justifies an immoral worldview. However you can not say in any reasonable way that a true-believing Mormon would justify an immoral worldview. Thay my friend is where the bigots like to feed and live and that is where you find yourself.

RaceBannon,

Do you want to have a conservation or when refuted you keep spewing out worn-out well-refuted attacks?

"Jehovah Witness?"

I don't think that would be a problem.

And, Muslims want to kill us, if you hadn't noticed.

WAS THE VIRGIN MARY REALLY A VIRGIN?

THE MORMON CHURCH TEACHES THAT:

Our God is an exalted man of flesh and bone

He physically lives with His many wives near the star Kolob

Worthy Mormon men can also become Gods, like Him

Our God is one of many Gods and serves a God of His own!

God came down to earth in the flesh and was the physical father of Jesus

You should not trust the Bible in this matter. It is wrong.

Trust their prophets.

Read what the Mormon leaders say about our Savior and the Virgin Mary.

GODS MUST HAVE WIVES

If none but gods will be permitted to multiply immortal children, it follows that each God must have one or more wives. God, the Father of our spirits, became the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the flesh. Orson Pratt, The Seer, page 158

MARY AND GOD WERE MARRIED

The fleshly body of Jesus required a Mother as well as a Father. Therefore, the Father and Mother of Jesus, according to the flesh, must have been associated together in the capacity of Husband and Wife; hence the Virgin Mary must have been, for the time being, the lawful wife of God the Father: we use the term lawful Wife, because it would be blasphemous in the highest degree to say that He overshadowed her or begat the Savior unlawfully. Orson Pratt, The Seer, page 158

JOSEPH WAS HER SECOND HUSBAND

Inasmuch as God was the first husband to her, it may be that He only gave her to be the wife of Joseph while in the mortal state, and that He intended after the resurrection to again take her as one of his own wives to raise up immortal spirits in eternity. Orson Pratt, The Seer, page 158

The man Joseph, the husband of Mary, did not, that we know of, have more than one wife, but Mary the wife of Joseph had another husband.

—Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 11:268

THE BIBLE IS WRONG

Joseph Fielding Smith, 10th Prophet of the Mormon Church: “They tell us the Book of Mormon states that Jesus was begotten of the Holy Ghost. I challenge that statement. The Book of Mormon teaches No Such Thing! Neither does the Bible!” —Doctrines of Salvation, Vol. 1:18

GOD IS A MAN

“Christ was begotten of God. He was NOT born without the aid of man and that man was God!” —Doctrines of Salvation, Vol. 1:18

AN ACT OF THE FLESH

The birth of the Savior was as natural as are the births of our children; it was the result of natural action. He partook of flesh and blood- was begotten of his Father, as we are of our fathers. —Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 8:115

In relation to the way in which I look upon the works of God and his creatures, I will say that I was naturally begotten; so was my father, and also my Savior Jesus Christ. According to the Scriptures, he is the first begotten of his father in the flesh, and there was nothing unnatural about it. —Heber C. Kimball, Journal of discourses, 8:211

NOT OF THE HOLY GHOST

‘’When the Virgin Mary conceived the Jesus, the Father had begotten him in his own likeness. He was not begotten by the Holy Ghost...

‘What a learned idea’ Jesus, our elder brother was begotten in the flesh by the same character that was in the garden of Eden, and who is our Father in heaven.” (He really does mean Adam...Editor.)

‘Now Remember from this time forth, and forever, hat Jesus Christ was not begotten by the Holy Ghost. will repeat a little anecdote. I was in conversation with a certain learned professor upon this subject when I replied to this idea- “If the son was begotten y the Holy Ghost, it would be very dangerous to baptize and confirm females and give the Holy Ghost o them, lest he should beget children to be palmed off on the Elders by the people, bringing the Elders into great difficulties.”...But what do the people in Christendom, with the Bible in their hands, know but this subject? Comparatively Nothing.”—Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 1:50-51

Bruce R. McConkie, deceased member of he 12 Apostles (d.1985) and leading LDS theologian, writes in MORMON DOCTRINE

SON OF GOD: God the Father is a perfected, glorified, holy Man, an immortal Personage. And Christ was born into the world as the literal Son of this Holy Being; he was born in the same personal, real, and literal sense that any mortal son is born to a mortal father. There is nothing figurative about his paternity; he was begotten, conceived and born in the normal and natural course of events, for he is the son of God, and that designation means what it says.—page 742

SON OF MAN: Christ is the Son of Man, meaning that his Father (the eternal God!) is a Holy Man. “In the language of dam, Man of Holiness” is the name of God. Page 742

SON OF MARY: ...but the Holy ghost is not the Father of Christ and when the Child was born, he was “the Son of the eternal Father. —page 743

ONLY BEGOTTEN SON: These name-titles all signify that our Lord is the only Son of the Father in the flesh. Each of the words is to be understood literally. Only means only, begotten means begotten, and Son means son. Christ was begotten by an Immortal Father in He same way that mortal tal men are begotten by mortal fathers. —page 546

TO BELIEVE THE MORMON DOCTRINE

IS TO BELIEVE THE BIBLE TEACHES A LIE!

WHAT DOES THE WORD OF GOD

SAY ABOUT IT?

Isaiah, Chapter 7

13 And he said, Hear ye now, O. house of David; Is it is a small

thing for you to weary men, but will I ye weary my God

also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;

Behold, a Virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall

call his name Im-man’-u-el.

Luke, Chapter 1

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall over shadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Matthew, Chapter 1

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Can you even imagine Mormon leaders believing that God came down from in heaven to have sex with Mary his daughter, and conceived Jesus with her??

HOW CAN THE MORMONS

TEACH SUCH THINGS?

2 Corinthians Chapter 4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

HOW YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN

Any person, right where he or she is, can have a personal relationship with the living God through Jesus Christ, and the assurance of eternal life, through prayer to the real God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (the God of the Bible).

1) Admit that (on your own) you are separated from God by sin,

unable to save yourself (Romans 3:23; Isaiah 64:6).

2) Be willing to turn from sin, to let Him change your life (Acts 26:20)

3) Believe that the real Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty of your personal sins and will take them away (Romans 5:8,9). Accept this in faith as a free gift from God (Ephesians 2:8,9).

4) invite Jesus Christ into your life to be your personal Lord and Savior (Revelation 3:20; John 1:12;1 John 5:11-13).

5) Read God’s Word (the Bible) daily and allow Him to take over the management of your life. Let His Holy Spirit fill you and lead you daily. Seek out a Christian church of believers who stand on God’s Word and it alone.
