Well, to be fair, they made fun of her Dad a lot, too, including showing him as a head in a jar.

Rounding up skid-row crackheads and nursing home patients, bussing them in, and handing them already-made signs to hold for a protest is a DemonRat trademark, so it’s only natural that they’d accuse their opposition of doing that. Funny how you never hear about this tactic at DemonRat rallies, war protests, and the Million Mom March.

One thing you’ll notice about bullies and a$$#oles and villains generally if you’re around them much is that they specialize in accusing others of the very kinds of **** which they themselves habitually engage in and perpetrate. That is because they assume themselves to be a reasonable model for the general run of humanity and assume others would do the things they do.

Someone needs to post that pic of the sign “Welcome to Tennessee, home of Vice President Al Gore and 11 electoral college votes for George W. Bush”!!! LOL

It wasn’t a house under siege, it was a nation under siege. The perp (now playing the victim) was trying to steal the election from the American people by demanding recounts in Democrat areas of FL only. Al Gore should have done the right thing and conceded election eve. Spare me with these “under siege” “horror stories”.

I dragged my elementary-school age boys and my hubby along to the Saturday protest. We parked in a place that required us to walk through the Gore camp before crossing the street. I remember coming out of their small crowd holding our “Sore Loserman” signs (homemade), and being cheered from the other side of the road, even though noone knew us, as we crossed the street.
The boys are one in college and one almost, and they still remember that rainy day. (and I still have my posters!)

I remember when liberals tried to do a similar protest where they actually did bus people (and children) over to Karl Rove's house.
The contrast with Free Republic's Gore house protest was so marked it made a great column called
How Not To Protest with the FReepers being held up as the shining example of the
right way to protest, of course!

How far we have fallen from those heady days of FReeper glory. True the DC FReepers still maintain a vigilance unrivaled, but how many other FReepers have taken to the streets lately?
Let us hope it won’t take an 09 Hilery inauguration/coronation to wake up those who forget what a difference a handful of dedicated FReepers can do to change the course of history. By then it may be too late.

It certainly would be a major trauma.
I would never do that to someone if I knew they were unstable and emotionally unprepared for such an experience.
My poppa caught me and some buds teasing the “crazy person” in the neighborhood when I was young and he taught me how wrong that was. My poppa was a smart man; I’d never do that to the Gore family.
Asking them to leave the VP’s house is a reasonable request, though.
