Thanks Mod, and I’m sorry for the trouble.
Creme, just keep repeating, "The British are our friends," "the British are our friends," "the British are our friends....." LOL!.
Reading my post again, I can see that it sounded a bit arsey.
Was just making comment on a few experiences, however, they’re only a few, but my time in the US was mainly positive. Sometimes I do have to remind myself that i’m talking to civvys!
Our 2 army’s are very different from each other, it has to be said. I made a great many friends during my stay in the US, some military some civvy. I still visit the US whenever I get the opportunity, I love Americans and I love your country.
It pi**es me off when I read on sites Brits slagging off US soldiers/marines and vice versa, because it’s always generally written by juveniles (well in the case of the Brit posters it is!) that really don’t know what they’re talking about.
LOL!!!
This is a thread that may interest you. I was surprised to see my fears of eventual Islamic civil unrest in Britain confirmed by it.

Cheers to you too mate, I enjoyed out debate! :-)
All the best,
UK
P.S: I definately agree with you about false posters on websites pretending to be from other countries to cause arguments. Things can get very heated, very quickly! Thank goodness international diplomacy isn’t conducted on such forums. I think the world would be a smoking ball by now :-)
All the best for you and the US,
UK
...and to you and yours also.
