“Oh sorry, I was “encouraged” to call you names by a person above me in the chain of command. “
De Nada, my FRiend ... say hello to her for me.
Hello.
Interesting that the Chief and the Union have left themselves wiggle room.

“Their lawyer, Charles LiMandri of the Thomas More Law Center, a conservative Christian legal organization based in Ann Arbor, Mich., said the wording of the new policy may not go far enough.
“It doesn’t say clearly that no one will be ordered to participate,” he said.
Under the new policy agreed between Fire Chief Tracy Jarman and the local firefighters’ union, volunteers would be paid four hours’ overtime for participating in parades.
“Someone is going to step up and want four hours of overtime,” said Luque. “We’re not going to order anyone to participate.”
Without stating specifically that ONLY volunteers will be used, Jarman has left it open for future abuse, and the Union has left itself a job of defending - a good deal for both of them, but not as final as it could easily be.
It's time to stand up like brave firefighters and laugh it off. This is just more victimization and lawyer BS.
If two lesbians got harassed, we'd all be yelling at them to suck it up.
Even though there's wiggle room, I don't see how a chief can do this again after all the crying and whining.
BTTT!
“It’s time to stand up like brave firefighters and laugh it off.”
I don’t doubt that this is the way it will wind up, but I hope they push the point and get that gap closed for good before they do.
As much as I’d like to see the City Attorney try to defend this case, I don’t think it will go that far.
Best Wishes.
SAN DIEGO, CA, August 7, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Four respected San Diego firefighters were ordered, against their wishes, to participate in uniform on their city fire truck in the city’s annual “Gay Pride” parade.
Done and sent. Thanks for filling out the missing address.
I’ve spent a lifetime learning what’s right and what’s not and teaching it to my kids.
Apparently, now, I must un-learn, reject and apologize for, nearly everything I have come to know and value as truth, common sense, and decency.
What Padres thing?
A few weeks ago they had gay pride night at a Padres game.
That on its own isn’t so bad, but the problem is that the same night they invited the Southern Baptist convention or whatever. GJ guys.
