Laura Ingraham was the doctor in the commercial for Oxy-Clinton.

That was HILARIOUS!

think this decision to cancel is premature.
I really thought that they were starting to hit their stride. The first bunch of shows had moments of humor, but lately they made me laugh at just about every bit.

I will miss the show.

Agree with all.

The writing was terrible. I’m surprised it lasted more than two episodes. Fox could have done a lot better.

I only saw a few clips on YouTube... as I don’t have cable.

And I agree most of it was a stinker... poorly written, obvious punchlines....

The only skit I saw that I found actually funny of the ones I saw the skit regarding the terrorists all being islamic.. but of course “NO CONNECTION COULD BE FOUND LINKING THEM”...

Interesting since one of Rush’s recent “vacations” was the trip to CA to tape some show episodes.

Good riddance.

Terrible show. It just wasn’t funny at all.

The only thing it had to recommend it was its political bent.

“Ever notice how the word “canceled” is misspelled? Even by major news sources?

Just asking...”

The dictionary lists either canceled or cancelled as acceptable, but lists canceled first, which means it’s the preferred spelling. Same with canceling (cancelling), which is the word that was actually used in the story.

>>>Ever notice how the word “canceled” is misspelled? Even by major news sources?

In fact I did notice that and started to correct the misspelling. Then stopped because anybody doing a search on that title before posting the same article might not find the changed title.

That was HILARIOUS!

Side effects may include blurred vision, insomnia, higher taxes, riots, and the total breakdown of the American healthcare system.

These are the REAL facts:

[1] It was Ann Coulter not Laura Ingraham who appeared with Rush on the first show.

[2] As I heard Rush state on his Rush Limbaugh show yesterday:

Two big programming notes:

Karl Rove will appear on the Rush Limbaugh Show in his first post-resignation announcement interview tomorrow, Wednesday, at 1PM ET.

In addition, Rush's hilarious skit will open a special edition of the 1/2 Hour News Hour, airing twice this Friday night, at 8PM and 11PMET on Fox News Channel.

a show with guest hosts such as Rush and Laura with only such comedy as they or their chosen guests might naturally inject into it would be just fine......these other turkeys who thought they were gonna be the SNL of FNC were pathetic.....not funny or thought-provoking at all.

“Cancelled” has been a perfectly acceptable spelling for “canceled” for a long time. It’s not the preferred by all dictionaries but it’s listed. It’s usually the British spelling.

My pet peeve is the acceptance of “irregardless”, though it is listed in dictionaries as nonstandard.

The show was as bad as Jon Stewart's show, which was the problem.

Plus it never belonged on a frickin' news channel. Neither does Red Eye, The Lineup, Geraldo at Large, or the newer version of On the Record (post-Laci Peterson, when it went from news wrap-up show to Nancy Grace wannabe show).

My wife liked it. But I’d rather go back to when we watched “The X-Files” every Sunday night. I want to believe........

“If they wanted a comedy show it should have been on Fox Entertainment, not Fox News.”

If they wanted a comedy show they needed to make the show funny. I watched it twice and thought it was pathetic and considerably non-humorous.

>I’ll believe it when Redeye is gone.<

Whew! I got worried for a moment because of “Redeye” repeats the last couple of nights.

But, I checked “The Daily Gut”, and found this: “Enjoy the show tonight. This Monday, I’m taking a week’s vacation with dear old mom and family. Be back on the 20th! During the week, we’ll be running what I like to call “Red Eye classics.” And, no - I don’t know what that means either.”

Yeah, “Redeye” gets vulgar, but I have gotten hooked...

OK, I missed the headline. Canceled is indeed the preferred spelling, but cancelled is considered acceptable, according to my dictionary. But then they use canceling. Let’s at least be consistent.
