Fortunately, in the case of “squeaky wheels,” if the grease doesn’t cure the squeak, they end up getting replaced.

I don't think America has lost the will to win at all.
However, I DO believe America never had the will to send 135,000+ troops halfway around the world to prop up an Islamic government in a Third World sh!t-hole while at the same time our own government allows free and unfettered access to invaders across our southern border.

Actually,
its been my direct experience in life that...
the one thing The LOVE Itself needs more of in this world,
for GOD is LOVE,
...is more LOVE.
And that only comes when people are FREE.
Something the unFREE cannot stand.
Thus,
the Battle for the 21st Century has just been enjoined between the hateful and the loving of this world.

Do you
believe our Heavenly Father?
Leviticus 26:14-39
- 14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: 16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. 18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. 21 And if ye walk contrary F60 unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
FOOTNOTES:
F60: contrary...: or, at all adventures with me
Could it be said that... a better translation of verse 19 might be
"And I will break the "will" of your "military power","?
I could be wrong... but, it sure fits the situation to me.

I think it was the 60’s and the advent of a tv war. People and ‘young adults’ got to see first hand that war was not an Audie Murphy movie. ‘Holy smokes, we could get hurt or even killed.’ I feel that was the when the real anti-war crowd started getting attention. Walter Cronkite and the boys pushed it along and then the politicians started going along and damned if the politicians didn’t screw us. That was also the time the Dems jumped the shark. Kennedy got my respect when he stood up to the Soviets over Cuba. Johnson and his butter and war destroyed the dems and sent them to the left so far they may never get back.(no matter how they campaign) Sorry for all of the ranting. Going to take my meds and get to bed. Ciao.

No ranting at all, casino. I couldn’t agree more.
Viewing real war every evening at dinner time, in living color, and negative reporting constantly, gave the leftist kooks a voice they didn’t have before.
Of course, having the KGB infilitrate their ranks and feed them propaganda they bought hook, line and sinker, didn’t help us either.
Kruschev did tell us they would detroy us from within. I’d say they have been doing a prety good job of it.

I forget which passage Samuel L. Jackson recites from Leviticus, I think 25?, but it is powerful.

Actually, it was Cheney who picked Cheney (as the VP candidate) in 2000. No, Dick Cheney was in charge of screening and recommending VP candidates for GWB as GOP Presidential nominee. Upon frustration with the process, Bush offered Cheney the job. It is a behavior identical to when Harriet Miers was screening potential Supreme Court nominees for the President and he offered her that opportunity.

We won the War...The people cheered and stood behind Bush 90%.
Then came the Nation Building Police Action...The people booed, loudly, and stand behind Bush 29%.
Reduce our enemies ability by bombing em till their rubble bounces...this includes Syria Iran Saudi Arabia Afghanistan and yes, parts of Pakistan. Target the wealthy Sunnis who finance Al-Qaida and the wealthy Shiites who finance Hezbollah ...Then watch the Qaddafi effect...Then return to base...park the planes and repeat when necessary.
Disallow any and all immigration to this country from any Muslim country. Deport all non citizen Muslims and keep as close an eye on the remaining ones as well as we did the Japanese American in 1942. Secure our borders.
Putting ground troops in these countries to institute democracy is a fools errand and will result in one long quagmire.
Even if successful, the newly empowered democratic Arabs will elect the Muslim fundamentalist entities that are our enemies.

Those whispering are mush, men with no ah how do I say this politely. Well they are NOT men with courage and the will to fight. They are wimps pure and simple.
Our troops have already won, they won when they got to Baghdad, they won when the people got to vote becsause of our troops courage and fight, they won one battle after the other and this surge is going well. Lots of things have been happening the media does not put on the TV, but we can find it and we do. It is online at the military websites, which are many and what we hear from our troops.
Let the weak and cowardly whisper in their halls that have been paid for by we the people. They will not feel the pride in our troops no matter what. They want to have a weekend war, a high speed over in 30 second war. They should talk to those from WW11 like my Grandparents, they should talk to those that went without and did things back here at home to contribute what they could so our armies would have supplies and other things.
Yep a bunch of woosie cowards that probably have never even loaded a gun.

Yes, the noise from the Left is deafening, but even more deafening is the silence from the rest. I went to Iraq for nothing. I think you're going to be surprised soon. We aren't going to let you down.
