The problem is that socialists/communists worldwide bombard the locality with anti American propaganda, and the US does nothing to counter it.

Simple things, like list all the people who are paid communist fellow travellers, who are members of communist front organisations, who have spoken or written in support of communism.

Publish the Stasi and other East European payrolls for agents.

Then the public would see how widespread and pervasive the communist fifth column is.

It’s no use blaming the British public. They only go on what they are told, and they are told the Commie story.

Even the BBC......

Your right. IMO it's that decision makers are afraid to "offend." Additionally I believe Clinton bureaucratic holdovers actively do nothing to counter (especially the State Department). I've listened to state department folks in fairly significant position still whine about the 2000 election. They don't mind allowing this administration to look bad (and doing nothing to counter) because they're hoping it will put a dim back in the White House. Forget about winning a war against terrorist... let them win as long as the dims get back into power.
