” Liberating Iraq in 2002 is looking smarter and smarter every day.”
I agree with you 100%. I’m tired of hearing the whining and defeatism about Iraq. What the cut and run crowd doesn’t realize is that just because you encounter difficulties in the middle of an effort doesn’t mean starting the effort was a mistake in the first place. Like a necessary surgery, once you start you can’t just walk away because something unexpected or difficult comes up. If you do the patient will die. You have to complete the surgery. We must stick it out in Iraq and use it as a foothold in a region that threatens the well-being of the world.

Kucinich should be used as the poster boy for why the country can’t trust democrats with foreign policy or our security.
To: MNJohnnie
I always thought one of the unspoken reasons for going into Iraq was the positioning in the Middle East.

Meanwhile on Wednesday the Nazareth-based Israeli Arab newspaper The Assennara cited anonymous Israeli sources as saying that Israeli jets "bombed a Syrian-Iranian missile base in northern Syria that was financed by Iran... It appears that the base was completely destroyed."
If true, that would explain why the Syrians were so angry, and yet didn't wan to talk about exactly what the Isralis actually bombed.
I'm a bit skeptical, but Syria was definitely mad and yet had the attitude of a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

But the State Department says North Korea is playing ball with us now and has promised to stop their nuke activities.
Can you say....

“I feel the United States is engaging in an illegal occupation,” Kucinich said in Lebanon after leaving Syria (see related link). During the Syrian TV interview, Kucinich gave effusive praise for the actions of Syrian President Assad.

I’m sure the troops are heartbroken that Kucinich didn’t bless them with his idiotic presence.

Gee, I thought we just had this wonderful agreement with N. Korea so they would stop doing all this bad stuff and let the UN inspect their nuclear facilities etc. Where is Hans Blix when we need him?

I call for an immediate investigation into the role Kucinich and Pelosi had in supplying Syria with nuclear weapons.
(That's not over the top rheotic, is it?)
It's not the evidence rather the seriousness of the charge.

There is no question - none - that the Syria-Iran-Hezbollah axis is determined to nuke (and to erase) Israel.
Anyone who does not understand this is severely delusional.

Someone on FR posts it once in a while and I have its location bookmarked somewhere, but today I couldn’t find it so did a google search, and the funny thing is that I found it on some leftist blog complaining about US colonialism! :)
It is a great pic, and makes a great argument for Bush and long-sighted strategery.
