advocates for peace

I'm assuming that you meant to put that in quotes ... :^)

Seriously, though, the irony of these nitwits holding a 'die-in' to 'honor' dead soldiers and Iraqi civilians is mind-boggling, considering the 'solution' that they champion -- US withdrawal, defeat, and surrender. When the number of Iraqi civilian deaths increases by an order of magnitude after we leave (if their 'Rat buddies in Congress get their way), it's fairly clear what the moonbats' response will be then:

"Act Now to Stop War and End Racism"

Stupid question here, but what does "ending racism" have to do with "stopping the war?" Were they simply looking for a couple of extra words that started with an "e" and an "r" just so they would have an acronym that spelled out a word suitable to their cause (i.e. "we demand an ANSWER!").

I guess ANSW ("ANN-SWUH") didn't have quite the same ring.

Wow. 1000 people. The concern is overwhelming. Remember that on Sept 15, 75-100,000 people will show up at college football stadiums all over the country, and pay for the priviledge to attend.

Also remember that as far as the MSM is concerned:

Two protesters on a corner, shouting "Bush Sucks" = dozens.

Handful of protesters, some with signs, standing out front of a Federal office = hundreds.

Busload or two of protesters, some with signs and at least one big stupid papermache puppet = Thousands.

You can buy skunk scent at just about any hunting goods store.
(It’s used to mask human scent.)

Also, as far as the MSM is concerned:

Hundreds of thousands turn out for a Promise Keeper rally -- 'a few thousand right-wing Christians'.

10,000+ for Gathering of Eagles - 'a few hundred Republican war supporters'.

I would be much more impressed if, instead of a fake “die-in”, they actually killed themselves.

Wait, “impressed” isn’t the right word....

Ah, “happier” is the word I’m looking for.

Organizers of an anti-war protest scheduled for Sept. 15 said Wednesday that the demonstration will be “unlike any other” as activists gather to demand an immediate end to the war.

“We’re going to whine and moan, offend by sight and odor, and just generally trash up the place! Oh, wait, it is going to be just like the other protests.”

'a few thousand right-wing Christians'.

You left out "Bigoted" "Hate-filled" "Homophobic" and "Closeted Gay".

I hate the MSM.

I’ll start worrying when they show up with guns and a noose.

Quick, somebody get there ahead of the “die-ins” and spread itching powder all over the sidewalk.

Say, before they have their “die-in,” maybe they should have a nice, refreshing cup of cold kool-aide?

concludes with a "die-in" that organizers estimate will involve approximately 1,000 people lying down near the Capitol in a symbolic effort to represent dead U.S. soldiers and dead Iraqis.

That's been done a few thousand times, even on stop-smoking commercials. How is that "different"?

The will meet a Gathering of Eagles, too.

Unlike any other? Hey Cindy, you want to really make an impact? During VietNam, the Buddist Monks would immolate themselves to protest the war. Now a thousand at once would really be unlike any other.

Just a thought...

There is no serious anti-war movement. They get fewer and fewer of these guys to show up at these things.

“Quick, somebody get there ahead of the “die-ins” and spread itching powder all over the sidewalk.”

It might also be fun to release a couple dozen mice amongst all those ‘dead’ lefties...nothing brings out the real character of a feminist stalwart quite like the unexpected discovery of a small rodent close by...

Is ANYONE from South Jersey going? Willing to share a ride or room??? (Hell. I’ll drive us in my car).

I cannot believe that no one from down here is going. Every post and e-mail I have sent has been unanswered in any way.

So, this will be unlike any other protest of its kind because . . . ? Will they actually die?

Unlike any other? It seems like they have these things at least once a month. The more they scream and moan the less things change. They have so many protests that no one is keeping track anymore. It’s like they are diluting their own efforts.

Its a good place to congregate and buy and sell weed.
