(chuckle)

Its no big deal, its the only thing the Ron Paul followers can win.

The fact its meaningless in the ‘real world’ escapes them. While thats sad, its also kinda funny when you think about it.

The Paulbearers have come for FR.

Next, they’ll come for you.

We're being spammed.

You mean "FReeped"?

BTW, same thing is happening at DailyKos. Their leadership constantly tries to run down Ron Paul. Has no effect. But he won their last two big polls by a large margin. In one of them, he had 60% and the next closest Dim, Edwards, was at 15%.

It's difficult to grasp why FReepers suddenly think these online polls are such a Good Thing or that they mean anything at all.

Personally, I didn't even bother voting in the current FR poll and don't plan to vote in them in the future.

As for new accounts that are only used to spam for Ron Paul, don't you suppose the mods nuke those people right away? I'm sure they can also nuke their vote in the online poll as well. So if this is important to JimRob and JohnRob, a few lines of Perl code is all it takes to fix it and eliminate both the spammers and their votes in FR's poll. This is pretty elementary stuff for webmasters as sophisticated as the Robinsons.

Yep. I knew it. I looked at the poll results yesterday. When I had originally posted, Fred and Duncan were leading the polls. You’ll notice, of course, most of the votes for Paul are from outside sources. I wonder how many of those kept clearing their cookies.
