Those of us who have objected to this insane candidacy from the beginning should have our brains bronzed or sent to the Smithsonian as an example of brilliant thinking.
Naahh, it's just plain old common sense and a minimal set of survival skills to object to this crazy train.

At the risk of sounding like a Dixie Chick I have to say I am a bit embarrassed that this nut job is from Texas.

The Dems have Kucinich, and we (Republicans) have Paul. Who’s the looniest?

No, not a cult. Not at all. [backs away slowly]

A man in an "Investigate 9/11" black t-shirt was walking up and down the aisles handing out fake dollar bills with Dick Cheney's face where Washington's should have been. ... because Ron Paul (and - by extension -- his gloryhole gaggle of supporters) are all just so gosh-darned CONSERVATIVE, you see.
Yeah. Yeah, that's probably it.

I just realized that no one, that I remember, has made the association with the original Dr. No.

I'm from the Great State of Texas too, but luckily, my Congressman, John Carter (TX - 31st) has been outstanding, so far. I'm sure he will probably rank near 100% in the ACU rating.
John Cornyn is also an outstanding Senator, so far.
Kay Bailey just voted for doubling the SCHIP budget I think. That is disappointing.

It does, however, make for fun political theater Not really...The Paulistanians pollute FreeRepublic with their twaddle, and then sulk when FReepers don't drink their kool-aid.

I have noticed a decrease in their enthusiasm since the thread about a week and half ago came out. “Where are all the Paul supporters coming from?”
Turns out a big chunk was from stormfront. A neo-nazi site.
