Yes Lynn Samuels. I think she has a radio show on Sirius or XM on the liberal side. What a nut she was on WABC She even looked Code Pink before CP was invented. What a weird woman.

He also appears on Fox News and Fox 5 with commentary...always very entertaining.

It will be interesting to see if Don Imus still refers to Hillary as "Satan" and the world's most horrible woman.

I hope he hasn't toned that part down.

I be the contrarian and say I’m glad he’s back and I’ll be listening if I can get WABC to stream.

I can’t help myself - I just like the guy.

Hi, yes Curtis is entertaining. He has been on WABC for a very long time, as was Steve Malzberg. I could not believe Malzberg was let go from 770 . We’ll have to see if they do the same thing with Curtis.
Curtis had a program on some holiday, I think it was 4th of July year’s ago that I will never forget. He spoke about every borrow of NYC and the ethnic quality of each borrow and it was fascinating.

[The story didn’t mention Curtis’ future, but I expect him to remain with WABC-AM in some capacity, maybe weekends.]

Might he team up with Imus?? That could be fun.

Sorry I missed that July 4th special. I’m sure he’ll be a guest host somewhere. They are always changing their show schedule around, too. I used to enjoy Steve on Sunday mornings. My favorite WABC host, next to Rush, is Mark Simone...his Saturday night oldies show is fabulous.

The folks who listen to him constitute the most valuable demographic in radio. He may not have the largest numbers but his numbers are rich and spend well.

Exactly. A thirty-second ad on Imus' show was the most expensive ad slot in the New York City radio market.

Not it wasn't Lynn Samuels. Lynn was actually paired with Steve Malzberg in the evenings before they paired him with Richard Bey, which also wasn't such a bad pairing.

Remembered it: Penny Krone. She was a "crone" of sorts.
Took me some time. Kept thinking "old hag".

Curtis will likely be sleeping in the cubicles and filling in everywhere, kind of like what Mark Simone is doing now.

Imus already has his team and show. He won't want Curtis, and I'm sure he's getting things his way.

Kuby should be thrown from the Throgs Neck Bridge, but Sliwa is being badly mistreated here.

I wasn’t a big Imus fan but he did call Hillary a "bucktoothed crook," Jimmy Carter a "pansy," and Dan Rather a "psychopath."

I almost peed in my pants and drove off the road laughing so hard on two specific occasions while listening to Imus' show. The first one was when he referred to Janet Reno as "Sasquatch." The second was when he played a clip of Dan Rather during the aftermath of that phony Air National Guard story and said, "Good lord -- he looks like he's making a hostage videotape!"

"....IMUS was brought down by Hillary’s hatchet man, Sharpton.....FOR Hillary’s sake......it will be interesting to see if Imus goes after her still....."

He will....watch. He used to call her Satan; watch what he does with her now.

I can't wait.

Anyone remember two years ago when C&K had on Steve Roberts who was screaming that Tom DeLay should be in jail. I emailed Kuby afterward so outraged...he wrote back with some nasty response about it being Steve’s opinion. Kuby has caused me to scream many a morning!

"....Kuby is a pony tailed secular hippie, but I found him amusing for comedy value....."

Agreed. I also found him to be a brilliant legal mind, and I always listened intently when he was in that mode.

. . .Janet Reno as “Sasquatch.”

Yeah, I think I would have had the same reaction. His humor was dry but lethal.

“All rise. You are about the enter the court room of Judge Ron Kuby. Let all those who have cause to plea draw near. God bless this honorable court and the United States of America. And believe me when I say, God Bless the United States of America.”

I enjoyed Kuby’s alternate universe of liberal views. I spend so much time on conservative blogs and FR that it was nice to hear a retarded different viewpoint.

I got a kick out of it. Now it’s back to quack, quack and Imus. Maybe he’ll change his tune since the liberal PC police ran him out of town. It’s not his fault he wasn’t funny. If you are going to walk the tightrope of PC racial jokes you better be hysterical.

Parker and Stone of South Park and Howard Stern get away with it. Because they are funny and don’t have a real racist bone in their body. It’s just schtick.

Imus IS really a closet racist.

I’ll check in on Imus when Howard is in commercial. Morbid curiosity.
