After what all the Dems did to get him fired, and what conservative talk radio did to stand by him, maybe DI will slide more to the right politically.
I, for one am looking forward to Don Imus return to radio. His ability to bring the wide array of guests from politics, sports, entertainment and business ALONG with the irreverant humor jump starts my day AGAIN!!!
I imagine Curtis will have a role in the show, and will probably be called on to host when Don is off. Or maybe, they will have a show for him between 10-noon.
As far as Charles and Bernard, if I remember they lay towards us politically. And for all the love DI gave the dems, he is second to none in terms of charity.
Sure we can. We just don’t need to capitalize “White.” We know who we are.
If his show was simulcast on MSLSD, then would it be that far fetched to think that FNC might need to say spice up their A.M. lineup?
Just a thought, and I love your tagline. But I’m more partial to Snoopy!
Thanks. Leftover from Halloween. I love Snoopy, but I identify so much with Charlie Brown (though I have a slightly better fashion sense).
I haven’t heard Curtis & Kuby since I abandoned my car commuting, but I agree that Curtis would be a plus.
Media Matters was behind the firing. Hillary top aide, Kelly Craighead, helped set up Media Matters. It is simply a front group for her.
Me too!
but don’t tell anyone, cause everyone knows how much CB got picked on.
Imus will die without Bernard. Bernard is the show
“Dog” Chapman is in deep trouble. He used the -N- word repeatedly in a recorded message left to his son, about a girl his son is seeing. This is going to make everyone forget all about Imus!

Awesome news! I missed McCord’s voice in the morning.
I hear you were on with LI. I missed it, but I’ll catch an archive.
Laura will soon have me back as a guest.
He will certainly miss Bernard if he isn’t part of the show.
The Nagin and Cardinal Egan impersonations were the best.
Thanks for the link!
Good to hear. I’ll listen for sure.
Why would you get that impression? Just curious.
I listened to Imus for years and always enjoyed his apparent comfortable relationship with all things black; particularly his close association with blues musicians and his genuine affinity with them. (So I thought; I am a white musician who grew up playing with black players).
Agreed, but who did the General Patton impersonations? I miss those...
As I mentioned I also listen to Howard Stern (yes I know, I am a sinner, sorry).
He worked with Imus back in the 70’s and 80’s and he has related some very graphic blow by blow stories about how Imus would berate and curse at minorities using racial slurs that would make rap songs sound like a Donnie and Marie record.
I got you Doug! Listening to LI on WABC. GREAT INFO!
Weren't Stern and Imus fierce competitors? Could that be the reason why Stern would put him down?
