Before there was Joe McCarthy, there was Martin Dies Jr, Congressman from Texas, who headed ut the House Committee of Unamerican Affairs. Dies started out as a very liberal Democrat representing the Texas delegation as an “at-large” Representative (this was in the days before “one man, one vote”). By 1938, he was so appalled at the excesses of the New Deal, and the total infiltration of the US government by Reds and Soviet activists, that he swung around and was opposing FDR on practically every front. During this same period, the once Republican faction called the “Progressives” were becoming even more Communist than Stalin, and since there was no Democrat party at all in Wisconsin during those lean years, the Progressives in Wisconsin took on the role of opposition to the real Republicans. Joe McCarthy, like so many idealistic youth, took up with the Progressives as a young man.

Being on the battle front changed young Joe, and he returned to Wisconsin a fiery and angry man, having shifted away from the Progressive view to the more righteous Republican position on Communism and what it had already done to America. Concurrently, the Progressive party had collapsed completely in Wisconsin, and the foundations of the renewed Democratican party were formed, drawing their cadre from the Progressive ranks.

A little-known fact (or at least one little known by most liberals) is that Joe McCarthy and Joe Kennedy’s boys, John and Bobby, were close personal friends in those early years in the Senate, and Bobby was one of the fleet young fellows who ferreted out the facts of the infiltration of Red influence at every level of the State Department and Department of Defense. Which makes the defection of Ted Kennedy even more curious. Surely he was aware of what his brothers were doing, aiding and abetting the anti-Communist activities of Joe McCarthy. Does Ted so despise the heroic achievements of his brothers in their younger years?

Ted's a doddering drunk and does what his staffers tell him to do. Ditto for seventy percent of the Seante....

Ted may have at one time been just like his brothers..
..couldn't keep his pecker in his pants but basically a traditional liberal (before liberals became rabid).

Since then he has morphed into the evil thing that he is. His brothers must be rolling in their graves.

It is the textbook on how they rewrite history.........................

Now you must understand that all "Big Brother" political movements rewrite history to suit themselves, rather than face history squarely. Why? Because their respective ideologies cannot COPE with the real world, but the alternatively create a faux Utopia. Hillery has her Utopia, O'bammer (Kennedy's spelling) has his, and they all whip the masses into a frenzy telling them all what is WRONG, and how they promise to SOLVE it, and bring about a heaven on earth if you vote for ME!

WHAT DRIVEL!

The Republican party is trying that approach now with its movement left towards so called , " progressive conservative" candidates.

Don't fall for it Republicans, go Duncan Hunter for 2008.

DO NOT BECOME A REVISIONIST OF HISTORY!

Anne is more than right, she is trying to WAKE people up.

And she is doing a good job.

The Dems thought the Nazi's were just wonderful people, seeking self determnation for their down trodden peoples in 1936. Joseph Kennedy , then ambassador to Britain, a democrat, and Charles Lindberg , a democrat, thought the Nazis were just great. Most dems did then. But the Dem liking of the Nazis dissappeared when the shite hit the fan in 1939. (Gas ovens tend to make you quail even if you are a liberal but maybe not today's liberals, who are more crazed than they were in 1939.) Then after the war the Dems showed up again to flex their commie traitorous ways against McCarthy, after almost a generation of "supporting" WWII and Korea.

Likewise today, the Utopia of liberal politicians cannot countenance an accurate view on the World Fascist Caliphate Movement, which started in Mecca in Nov. of 1979, when Wahabbi gunmen attacked the holy mosque and the holy of holies of Islam, and captured it. (They were finally gased with poison, and others beheaded.) No, no, todays revisionist liberal historians won’t connect the dots from then up to 9/11.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Likewise the Republican Party supports so called , “ progressive” conservatives, who also are historical revisionists seeking to compete with the Dems in selling the masses a progressibve conservative “Utopia.” Only one candidate in both the Dem and Republican fields is NOT, and his name? Duncan Hunter.

Support him, and get things done in the REAL world:
