Sarkozy "--is clearly not lukewarm about 'les Etats-Unis'."

The same can be said of the BBC.

The French are not stupid.

Their foremost ambition, as a nation, is world domination.

Sooner or later, although often too late, they discover they no longer have Swedish soldiers protecting them from the Germans.

However, despite the immoral ways of NB, I’m prepared to support Sarkozy.

In my world, Europe and America belong together.

In a very true and evident sense, Europe and America is one.

At this point in time, we, in America are better able to fight the socialist than Europe, but; we are failing too. The overall principles of individual rights bestowed upon man by something greater than man is under constant assault - this is basically who Americans are.

By the way, great plane, hope they never have to to come up against a F22.

What America needs is more Scandinavians and a lot fewer Mexicans. I'm Jewish (Poland Ukraine) and I like the North European way of doing things lot more than the Latino way. If I were king British Isles and Scandi people could come and go as they please here

If you visit fly straight into Milwaukee. It’s a Scandi-German epicenter

- Well put.

Yes, Europe of today is weaker than ever.

Europe IS a political midget.

Europe IS a military maggot.

The economy of Europe is crippled.

However, Sarkozy marks the beginning of a new era.

But above all, Sarkozy is able to unite both parts of the Western World.

Hail to a new concord!

The man in that photo is almost surely a veteran of WW1. Imagine having served in the defense of your motherland in your early-20’s only to see foreign troops marching in your capital city in your early-40’s? Certainly he thought his world was coming to an end.

Sarkozy got elected on a conservative ideology while Iraq was burning down and blowing up. And so did Angela Merkel in Germany around the same time. They did not bow down to the media in both places. Sarkozy walked off the set of ‘60 Minutes’ after the gal asked him about his divorce. He had better things to do. A head of state that acts like one.

France will learn, once again, there are real benefits to being a special friend to America.

A man who declared his intention on going to Washington of "reconquering the heart of America"...

It is so nice to here this from a foreign leader. All we ever hear from the American left is how the onus is on us to make everyone our friend. No one, it seems, is ever obligated to be kind to us, or to help us in any way. Maybe Sarkozy "gets it."

As a European and as an uncompromising friend of the US, I would like to say that things happening here marks a new era in cross-Atlantic relations.

Greetings from Europe to

The Land of the Free

and the Home of the Brave!

Spot on. It is the image of a heartbroken individual seeing his nation in defeat

If the nation were the US and him a liberal, he would not be crying. He would be happily applying for a job with the "Vichy" regime.
