I bet the national media did not give as much press as if the market went down 300 pts.

Today was interesting. So was last week. But the next two months will be even moreso, I suspect.

Besides $crewing the unions and their rat politicians, we save some real $’s on products made here in America or by our allies.

We buy about $150/month of over the counter health products that would cost $200 or more at any chain drug store.

Food/drink products like Propel, Lipton Green Tea, Jack’s Jerky, Bumble Bee/Chicken of the Sea salmon/tuna steaks have excellent savings and help us not to need fast foods, have excellent prices.

Auto products like RainX, windshield washer solution, wax have excellent prices.

Household cleaning products are well stocked with excellent prices.

We spend about $400 per month at Walmart with no ChiCom products and save anywhere from $70 to $100 each month. This is one of the best investments we make each month.

"Lipton Green Tea"

I buy the "Diet" version by the multiple case load at Sam's Club (the other Wally Mart)(and recycle the plastic bottles for CA Redemption Value)(CRV is not a Honda) where I buy that American refined western hemisphere gasoline!

My credit card gives me an additional 3% off the discounted Sam's Club price so I saves even more than buyin at ARCO where I used to pay cash. Wull... there ain't no Chinese gasoline anaways!!!

I pray for a Sam’s to open near us so I can burn my Costco Cards.

Watch that diet drink stuff. It can have so side effects that border on “I don’t really need this stuff!”

the next two months

The experts are saying those who own stocks in Dec-Mar are usually happy about it, and the Presidential election year is also somewhat an up year for the stock market. Of course the world could disappear up its own #$$%^&* at any moment, but it's hard for a rich man to get into heaven not that it's easy for someone who just got wiped out in the stock market. All in all about a month from now would be somewhat possibly a relatively good time.

WalMart PING!!!!

Sorry I’m late to the party - but I work on Tuesday nights -— no, not at WalMart, although the pay and hours probably would be better :)

“...although the pay and hours probably would be better...”

No kidding! A “Newbie” Cashier at the local Super Wal-Mart is making nearly $12 an hour for part-time work in our town. Yeesh!

But, I know you make at least that in tips every night. ;)

Gold is up. Silver is up. My stock fund is up. Wal-Mart still gives me really cheap MADE IN AMERICA goods (because I can read product labels!) D@mn this economy! *SMIRK*

In other words, all is right in my little world. :)

Our youngest son just got a part time job at Wal-Mart. He’s going to start orientation tomorrow!

My 17-yo son is a part time cashier at store #1 (that’s right-the first one) right here in Rogers, AR. That job has done more to build a conservative foundation than anything I can imagine. He has met the welfare parasites up close and personal, and he has seen first hand how much contempt they have for the people who pay their living. I just got off the phone with him and he says the holidays bring out the stupid in shoppers..

It's a market of stocks, but even as a whole it hasn't been this undervalued in 30 yrs.
