“Gore would have had the friggin’ presidency if he would have asked Clinton to resign. “

You know.... someone else, close to Clinton, very close, did ask him to resign. It didn’t work out well for him.

May Vince rest in peace.

Who says he isn't running? My scenario has included the onset of the Algore-ithm as a response to a draft. With the fade of Clinton's "inevitability" drama, and the infeasibility of Obama, calls for Algore from the media, like this one, can be expected to increase. As the early primaries deflate the Clinton balloon, pressure on Algore will increase. Trust me when I tell ya--his narcissism will be re-awakened by the prospect of an open field.

1:Where is the “Hurl” alert?
2:Latest buzz is that he is now worth 100 mil and that is
before his carbon credit company’s scam really kicks in.
3:He has no downside to what he is doing now; he’d be a
bigger fool than he is to trade that in for presidential
headaches, and he’d have to actually prove what he has
been spewing is true.
4:He knows he would be unable to fleece the republic like
he wants to if he was president and if he loses he puts the
scam at risk.

Who says he isn't running?

Is there any way to promote Altoast2000 as a write-in candidate?

Uh, he’s not running because he’s too fat?

He's not running because he's an abject loser -- and "vaguely gay, morbidly obese" (in the words of Ann Coulter).

He had every opportunity to run against George W. Bush again in 2004. If he truly believed that he really won in 2000 he would have come right back in 2004 and run again, but he didn't.

I still give it fair odds that a viable Draft Gore movement will form around him at some point and rob the Democrat of a bunch of votes. Global Warming is enough of a religious belief that I think it’s going to be a major factor...

I can’t wait for the Convention....

Good question I’ve raised several times here.

According to Gore’s “countdown clock” there is only about 8 years left before environmental Armageddon.

So why isn’t this Oscar/Emmy winning world champion running? Isn’t the POTUS the only position he can have that will save the planet?

Only 8 years left, Al. Stop pussyfootin around. Earth Wind & Fire concerts are wasting valuable time. Get with it now. Only you can save us.

That is, provided you were really serious in the first place.

I’m not sure about that. Gore hates the Clintons.

I wasn’t on FR in 2000, but there must have been some here posting that they felt that Gore didn’t really want to win.

I think that the 2000 loss finally got him off a path that his parents had forced on him, and that this new role as semi-god, guru to the stars or whatever the hell he is, is a role that is blissful to the old second rate stoner.

I think that the guy is as happy as a pig in slop, he gets all the glory without actually having to be, or do, anything, except be a mascot/symbol publicist.

Why Isn't Gore Running?

As Rush said earlier this week, because then he would have to debate Global Warming(TM) and he can't.

Because he is getting rich off of his lies and his fat white ass can’t afford to be humiliated in another total loss. Now that’s “pithy”.

Algor has made close to 60,000,000 in six or seven years promoting AGW. He gets about $100,000 to $300,000 for a 50 minute slide show, the book revenues, the movie residuals, the Nobel money which he laundered through his own AGW foundation, people pumping money into his carbon credit company, PLUS the money he gets from Occidental Oil.

He’d never make that much in the White House and as President, everything he did or said would be questioned and debated, something he must go to great lengths to avoid if he’s to keep the AGW cash rolling in.

OTOH maybe he will run with Kerry as vice. Both want to save the planet, and with one vote the voters could reverse the last two unjust stolen elections.

He’s too fat to run. He could only make it about half a block and he’d have to stop and rest.

I’ve been predicting for a long time that he WILL enter the race—he’s just waiting for the “right moment”.

A lot of good and accurate reasons here - but I think the main one is that he knows there would be an extra-wide dirt pallet reserved for him at Fort Marcy Park if he ran...the Al Sharpton of global warming will stick to safer ways of corruption.

Why isn’t he running? Why should he? He is now the defacto world leader of the Church of Global Warming. He doesn’t really have to work, can dress in smarmy Hollywood all-black and gets accolades daily. He couldn’t be happier. He has found his niche.
