>>>I don’t know about the NSA part.

The Iran estimate came from the National Intelligence Council who have shared personnel with the Department of Energy. The Department of Energy has a vested interest in Global Warming and Carbon Credits. China has at least 43 per cent of total CERs registered at the UN.

When I was in the military many years ago....the Sergeant walked out of his office, and announced to assembled “masses” who wants to go Russian Language school....

China's Ministry of State Security, the main civilian spy service, carried out the operations by setting up a Chinese translation service in Hawaii that represented itself as a U.S.-origin company.
Seems like a smart bomb would make a good Christmas present for China's Ministry of State Security. :') Thanks g76.

Bill Gertz covers the Pentagon. He can be reached at 202/636-3274 or at bgertz@washingtontimes.com.

You might know that Bill Gertz is always writing articles and books on the China threats, so I e-mailed him and asked him to help Duncan Hunter out, and included a snippet of a Hunter quote re: Communist China.

I hope others will join me in contacting Bill Gertz. Gertz has been on many radio shows, including Drudge, Mark Levin, Bob Dornan, et al

I studied Russian in High School with the specific idea of applying to one of the alphabet agencies. But second year wasn’t offered so that was a non-starter (then I changed my life goals).

Just depends on the situation. There really aren’t enough native born Arabic speakers. There are literally millions of native born Chinese speakers though.

Makes me wonder if this story isn’t quite what it seems. Assume for a moment that NSA isn’t quite as stupid as they are presented here and let that thought lead you to it’s logical conclusion.

All I’m going to say here.

Communist China’s military also hacked into a Pentagon computer last June, but yet, we still allow China to have an approximately $250 BILLION trade imbalance (in their favor) with us each year, due to their CHEATING.

Look to the time line, Sarge. 'Several years ago' is a tip.

Like the Enron, World Com and several other scandals that were investigated and prosecuted during the early years of the Bush administration, this is similar. It takes executive appointments, pressure and time to pull off this kind of infiltration just as it took negligence on the part of commerce and justice regulators and time for Enron and World Com to deceive their employees and investors.

I don't know why this story is out now since it's a done deal.....but it's a political cheap shot at Meade.

These kinds of email addresses usually receive so much mail that the guys don’t look at them.

Did Gertz email you back?

This story is definitely not what it seems.

That is, the slant of the story seems to be against political correctness. Coming from the liberal spy agency culture—this angle is hard to believe.

Maybe. But they are contracting out to private contractors to do the background investigation and then the contract itself.

Why in the world would they think it wouldn't ever bite them in the ass?

I spent most of the day doing research on spies/communists in our Government.

Yes, looking at history, some of the names will surprise you and their children are still there.

The links are posted in the World Terrorism Thread #11:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1940757/posts?page=276#276

This batch of links, are in the Post #273 to Post #284 area.

They fit in with the Hoover report.

Shhhhh, I try to keep it a secret.

Yes, they call me crazy, I keep telling people there are communists in our Government, who do not want the America that I grew up in, to exist.

LOL, at the least, old age has its benefits, you know what was and what is today, is very sad.

I played with Googles on China and spies afew a day and posted them here in Posts #170 & 173 & 176 of the World Terrorism #11:

Some went off on different angles and are closely tied to Canada.

They are under Federal mandate to clear the backlog for security clearance issuances, but without any increase in the number of investigaters. Not much choice but to contract out.

I live in San Francisco and I can tell you that the number of native born Chinese speakers (3rd or 4th generation American) around here numbers in the 10s of thousands. Why NSA would need to go to a contract firm in Hawaii for translation is beyond me.
