By thisafternoon, it’ll be the “virtual tie for second” is almost like coming in first place...

I donated to Fred last night. If he’s first or second in an upcoming event, the media can’t ignore him anymore! I’m Christian, but do NOT want either of the top two candidates last night to be the GOP nominee.

As much as I am annoyed by the caucii,

Is it therefore possible to say you have been left cockeyed by the caucii?

A lot of people keep the party affiliation they were born into. I think McCain voters are center/moderates who have always been Republican, and are not full blown moonbats, but basically modern rubes who don’t study history and don’t understand or appreciate how a multilayered, republican form of government is supposed to function.

I like your tag line by the way. Apply it to this thought, debates mean squat. In fact the dog and pony shows with the masters (media) asking the candidates to bark (raise their hands) are nothing closely resembling debates.

Fred's idea is to have televised Lincoln/Douglas type debates and I know the only reason he even does this silly format is because it has, for some insane reason, become the rules of the MSM game.

And in case you didn't get my message in the first reply I made.

DONATE TODAY!

Thanks brother. In the past 10 days I have sent a total of $250.00. Not bragging, as I am robbing Peter to support Fred. It is that important, to me, as I enter the twilight of my life !

There are a few local boards in the Seacoast area which have been inundated by the Paulbots. Kelly Halldorson is one of the ringleaders of their little cult.

NH is no longer “live free or die”; it is Mass. lite and changing completely to RINO and will be a blue state....

Maybe this is wishful thinking on my part, but I hope that the "problem" with Fred is that the conservative vote on the Republican side is fractured among the several candidates, with the RINO vote (and possibly the evangelical vote, but I'm not buying that analysis 100%) more concentrated.

What I would like to see is a poll that compares each candidate individually against their competitor on the other side.

What I mean is: Obama vs Fred, Clinton vs Fred, Edwards vs Fred, Obama vs McCain, Clinton vs McCain, Edwards vs McCain, etc. etc.

We (as Republicans) could end up with a lame candidate who will lose to the rat frontrunner only because the conservative vote stays too diluted to get the right guy in front and then the one who ends up with the nominiation won't have the support of the Republican electorate to beat the rat frontrunner.

The following are just made up numbers, so please don't take this as an insult to your candidate...

Lets say RINOs comprise 25% of the party and evangelicals 25% and conservatives 50%. Most RINOs overhwhelmingly like Romney, most evangelicals overwhelmingly like Huck, and the conservative vote is split between McCain, Thompson, Hunter, and Rudy. Just because I like him, but you could use anyone, lets say Thompson is the guy that really could carry the party since most Romneyites would be happy with him, as would most Huckites, and so would Rudyites, Hunterites, and maybe even McCainiacs. However, the reverse isn't true - most conservatives aren't going to be happy with Romney nor Huckabee.

However, until Hunter, McCain, and Rudy drop out, Thompson isn't going to get enough of a showing to be a solid 3rd or 2nd. We could end up with a candidate that has fervent support from a minority of the party, but lukewarm support from everybody else and that isn't going to give us what it takes to beat the rats.

Obviously, you could frame this argument around any of the candidates and its going to be an issue in every primary. Just something we ought to be aware of when digesting MSM reporting and deciding when and where to put our campaign contributions.

When others have criticized Fox News the past couple years, I've cited Brit Hume as the only reason to watch them. I was bitterly disappointed last night at his reluctance to even give Fred credit for taking third.

This is the time for Fred supporters to keep on giving to the campaign. I hope Hunter fans will begin to move to him also, though I can understand how difficult it is to give up on someone you've believed was the right man.

As I understand it (second and third hand), Fred has been holding $6m for South Carolina. I don’t know if this is true.

My understanding is that he will be in New Hampshire only for the debates, then proceed directly to South Carolina.

I wish he’d put the Iowa ad up in Wyoming, which I understand is caucusing Saturday (or was it Colorado?).

I been working so sorry for no response. I hear what your saying and I have read that Fred is ready to take SC by storm and thats good enough for me.

Thats what I have been hearing too. I also thought a little love toward Wyoming could go a long way.

If he's only in NH for the debates and then on to SC thats good enough for me.

It’s a funny situation for the media—their eagerness to ignore Fred is newsworthy in itself.

Bump this for the assorted "conservative" pundit phonies that lurk this site.

As is not kissing their ass

Exactly!

They ignore him because he does not come out to pay homage to their preiminent punditry. They won't cover anyone who will not help them look good.

I told myself that if Fred gets into the top three in IOWA I’ll start donating to his campaign.

Just did and will continue to do so as he progresses.

Thanks for the reminder!
