I think that Fred has an opportunity to be the conservative alternative of whichever of the other four survive. They are all pretty much self-proclaimed moderates. All four candidates cannot survive. My guess is that if Mitt really wants it he can last longer, based on his money. McCain will probably win N.H. but that will be his watermark. We need to remember that most of the other primaries are limited to republicans and not open to others. This is what killed McCain after N.H. in 2000. I think S.C. will be the deathblow of McCain. If Mitt can get under his skin he will show his true colors too. Rudy MUST win FL or he is out too. Huckabuck needs to be brought down to earth. It would help to go after him pretty hard too. Look for the others to go after him in the debate tonight. He presents a huge target of opportunity for the liberal stuff that he has done outside of the social issues. And he has proven that he has a thin skin too!

It is quite possible that Fred will come in second in S.C. and begin to gain momentum. As the Southern primaries come up a healthy Fred will start to rack up wins. This race is a marathon and not a sprint. It will go to the person most patient and smartest. One thing you have to hand to McCain. He didn’t panic. Let’s not panic and trust Fred to not panic. I think he knows what he is doing and all the talk of him bowing out early was just baloney by his enemies. Go Fred Go!

I agree with all you said. Fred really draws people to him when they get a chance to see him speak. The debates do not give him a chance to say much in the 30 second sound bites they allow, but Fred is really good at making points anyway. The more interview TV time he gets the better. As others drop out more attention will come to Fred. Looking forward to these two debates. Just might make Fred have a better showing than expected in New Hampshire even though he admitted he doesn’t expect much from Tuesday’s primary. I do know that Florida is a big one to get on the 29th. They say Rudy is ahead in the polls here in Florida, but I know anyone who is for Rudy. I am going to be helping any way I can to put Florida in Fred’s pocket! GO FRED!
