The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor..Germany declared war on us soon after. It's obvious that you have either forgotten, or never saw the movie Animal House.... ;-)

US needs to throw some "crappy little nation" against the wall every ten years or so, to demonstrate our ethical superiority to the world? Hell yeah. That seems to be the only thing that works.

...to gin up a war against a former client of ours,...
Saddam's Iraq was never a client of ours. It was a client of the “dear departed" USSR. We were just happy that they were tying down Khomeini and Company in a fruitless ground war, which eventually Iraq won.
Saudi Arabia has nutburgers who are trying to destroy the U.S. The U.S. of A. has nutburgers who are trying to destroy the U.S. So, do you have a point?
If you actually have nephews who have served or will serve in Iraq, thank them for their service for me. But don’t imagine their service gives you immunity from criticism here. And I don’t see why you mentioned them. Unless such immunity was your goal.
Please cite for me evidence to support your slander against Michael Ledeen. You, know, somewhere where he suggests throwing "some 'crappy little nation' against the wall every ten years or so". If you can’t you thereby prove yourself worthy of no more of my time.
The troll-o-meter is pegging to the right.
Personally t I think the RJR you are a fan of is the tobacco company.

Boy, did you ever mistakenly stumble on the wrong forum 8 months or so ago.
Just because you have a couple family members in the service doesn't make YOU a hero.
We'll be freeping you when you stand next to Mother Sheehan at the next anti-war rally at Columbia or Bezerkley.

Let’s hope Bush made that a standing order...:)
I was reminiscing it seems there was a time just that act alone would have been considered an act of war.

Christians for 3,000 years?Assyrians for 3,000 years or so, Christians for nearly 2,000. Their capital city, Essur, was a center of Christian scholarship and missionary endeavor during the first millennium AD. I believe it was Assyrian missionaries who took the gospel to Korea, and helped them create their alphabet.
