Hmmmm, I wonder if Mike Medved, a “conservative” advocate for amnestying illegal aliens, would object to Olmert granting rights of chain immigration to the “refugees”.
Channel Ten reported Thursday night that in a private meeting between Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazen, the two agreed that in the final-status agreement, Israel would withdraw from 92% of Judea and Samaria, including all the non-Jewish neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem. It was also agreed that 50,000 “refugees from 1948” would enter and live in the State of Israel.
Judea is Southern Israel, the House of David.Conquered by the Babylonians
Samaria is Northern Israel, the lost tribes, Conquered by the Assyrians.
What is Israel without these to cities

Arafat wasn't a Christian, but a Muslim who pretended to show empathy for them (while destroying Bethlehem and driving most of them out) on Christmas and such. His wife Sufi claims to be a Christian I think, as well as some of his cabinet like Hanan Ashwari - she's a real piece of work. And from what I've read, Arab Christians are often taught to hate the Jews just as much - it's a cultural, political thing. Example - Bridgette Gabriel, a Lebanese Christian who was raised to hate Jews, til she encountered some in an Israeli hospital where her mother was treated, and she found out that it was all propaganda. If you're not familiar with her, she's got a great story.
So those who cut and ran to get out of the way of the "Conquering Muslim Armies", with the promise of being given the land and other possesions of the Jews after they were pushed into the sea, are finally to get their "reward". The Jews, did not force these people to leave, why should they let them or their get back in? (In fact they broadcast appeals for them *not* to leave).

And what recompense will there be for all the Jews, and their decendants, who lost their homes and possessions after being forced from their ancestral homes in majority Muslim lands across the Middle East? In 1948 and after later wars as well. I imagine they'll get a flying fickle finger of fate type "compensation".
Who gets to decide which 50,000 "refugees" get to return. If Abu Mazen gets to decide, I imagine a lot of them will be these guys and their litte Shahids
It's exactly like that. The land between the Nueces and Rio Grande (or Rio Bravo depending on which side of it you live) was disputed from the time of the Texas Revolution until after the Mexican war, which settled the matter.
(That's between Corpus Christie and Brownsville for all not familiar with Texas geography).
Ask the South Vietnamese. You should be able to find some in your own town.

Allow them to be properly buried. Allahu fubar!
these people act like that land is the most beautiful in the world......it looks hot and dry and barren to me.....
Its all about the “occcccccccccccccc-uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-payyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-shunnnnnn” ping! Olmerde is as bad as some of those so-called kings in the books of Kings and Chronicles in the Bible who sold out ancient Israel and Judah for various reasons. Shoot, Olmerde is another Esau, he’s selling his (and all of Israel’s) birthright to assuage some immediate hunger. At least Esau’s was only for food, Olmerde’s affects far more people. Why the Israeli people or Israeli military hasn’t risen up to toss this pitiful bozo out is beyond me. I hate to think if he’d been alive in 1942 Poland what he would have done to his fellow Jews.

Olmert as Rumkowsky? That’s a very interesting idea. I’m going to think about that one.
So who is the nation of Esau today?
I honestly wonder sometimes just what he would have done had he been in the 1942 Warsaw ghetto. He seems hell bent on shrinking Israel and giving things away right and left.
A number of biblical maps I’ve seen over the years show the area where Esau and his descendants lived as part of the current nation of Jordan.
