South Carolina has one of the highest proportion of military retirees in the country

There's also a very high proportion of military families (with a member in active service). This military family will be voting for Fred.

The huckster is an outsider. FDT and Mclame served in the senate together. I don’t like your tone btw, it was just an observation and many have espoused the opinion

So, if he's an outsider he can't criticize an insider? You don't have to like my tone. One cannot critically think that FDT is somehow running interference for McCain or hedging his bets without applying the same standard of logic to Huckabee.

Hillary Clinton has eaten up half of Barack Obama's previous lead as well, with only eight days to go before the primary..

Here is where Hillary will bury Obama. She'll come out of this with momentum and with 3 weeks will have the nomination all sewed up. Now if Barak doesn't shut up and start acting like a good boy, he'll never get the leftover crumbs in the form of the VP nod.

Who says there is logic in politics. However, huckster is the media darling of these early primaries. He doesn’t have to hedge his bets. Thompson will be bucking for the VP if he is not viable after SC. That is my point.

Shucks, nevermind the primary...

...ping me when Fred attacks his old, present, and future friend, McCain, instead of just the people in ol’ John’s way.

Have you heard about the $10 at 10PM challenge? Asking all FredHeads to give $10 at 10PM to push Fred’s truck over the 1,000,000 goal! I will be donating $10 for my hubby and $10 for me at 10PM. GO FRED!

If Fred’s interview on The Great One’s show is any indication, he’s not going to go after McCain.

Disappointing.

Once more, it's Huck's fault that the criticisms leveled by Fred stuck. They stuck because they were true. The truth sets us free.

I'll repeat the same statement to you that I did to Bruinator. Where is Huck's attacks on McCain? Surely the #2 guy would go after the #1 guy? Nope, the #4 guy. Is Huck hedging his bets? He's probably close to the bottom of his funds and Super Tuesday is going to be a killer for even the well-funded campaigns. He's not in the top 4 in raising funds despite his position in the polls. So, it would seem logical that he's angling for a veep slot with McCain or Giuliani, should they emerge from the fray.

Finallly, when FDT was on Levin's show the other night he pointed out the clear differences between him and McCain. Bush tax cuts and immigration.

Okay Fred, now it’s time to takedown Big John McCain.

What’s wrong? Cat’s got your tongue?

Good new talking points for you Huckabites. Now explain when #2 Huckabee's going after #1 McCain (instead of #4 Thompson). I shall patiently await.

Fred finally cracks through 12% and gets back in the neighboorhood of 20. But his old buddy, McCain, is the true beneficiary. Nothing less than 1st place will do for Fred, and I don’t know how he gets the rest of the way in SC with no more debates, and a seeming unwillingness to go after McCain.
