OPINION:

I don’t condone Ruby Ridge nor Waco.
No sane person would.

I believe you’re judging all leos and and FBI agents as all being rotten apples in the same barrel.

If so, I’m sorry for you.

Generally speaking, I believe we’ll have to agree that you and I don’t have the same viewpoint.

Can you describe a little more the position and the Supreme Court approval you mention?

Original Decision:

The Belligerent Claimant "The privilege against self-incrimination is neither accorded to the passive resistant, nor the person who is ignorant of his rights, nor to one indifferent thereto. It is a fighting clause. Its benefits can be retained only by sustained combat. It can not be retained by attorney or solicitor. It is valid only when insisted upon by a belligerent claimant in person. The one who is persuaded by honeyed words or moral suasion to testify or produce documents rather than make a last ditch stand, simply loses the protection. Once he testifies to part, he has waived his right and must on cross examination or otherwise, testify as to the whole transaction. He must refuse to answer or produce, and test the matter in contempt proceedings, or by habeas corpus." District Judge James Alger Fee United States v. Johnson, 76 F. Supp. 538 (at page 540) District Court, M.D. Pennsylvania Feb. 26, 1947

As practiced by some I know:

phttp //www.realtruth.biz/freedomstuff/notice%20to%20arresting%20officer.doc

If you Google it there is lots on the web. When dealing with LEO's My usual first statement is:

"I am a belligerent claimant, I demand all of my rights all of the time and surrender none of my rights at any time."

Read and study if you intend to use it. it is not for the feint of heart or the person who shoots his mouth off to a cop. It has been to the Supremes in several cases and was a key point in one. At the very least do not surrender to any searches without a warrant or talk to LEO's without a lawyer.

Considering that Buchanan doesn’t know the capitol of Israel is Jerusalem, why should we trust him with complicated things?

Mossad and the Ministry of Defense are located in Tel Aviv. That isn't too complicated to understand.

No sir, I’m very busy and unless I’m under arrest, we’re finished here.

The CIA is headquartered in Langley and the Pentagon is in Arlington VA. Our capitol is DC, not Virginia.

Also, PJB is talking about policy.
The man is either too ideologically biased to admit Israel's caipitol or he is really just ignorant.

So when did the US government recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel? Sounds like the ideological bias is yours.

Updating an old thread.... after finding it while looking up Paul McNulty, part of what is apparently a new AntiTrumper group...

US Drops Spy Charges Against Lobbyists
Military.com ^ | 05/01/2009 | AP

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia - Federal prosecutors moved Friday to dismiss espionage-related charges against two former pro-Israel lobbyists accused of disclosing classified U.S. defense information, ending a tortuous inside-the-Beltway legal battle rife with national security intrigue.
Critics of the prosecution of Steven Rosen and Keith Weissman of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee accused the federal government of trying to criminalize the sort of back-channel discussions between government officials, lobbyists and reporters that are commonplace in Washington. AIPAC is an influential pro-Israel lobbying group.
The indictment had alleged that Rosen and Weissman conspired to obtain and then disclose to journalists and the Israeli government classified information on U.S. policy toward Iran, as well as information on the al-Qaida terror network and the bombing of the Khobar Towers dormitory in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 U.S. Air Force personnel.
Acting U.S. Attorney Dana Boente said the government moved to dismiss the charges in the drawn-out case after concluding that pretrial rulings would make it too difficult for the government to prove its case.
Boente also said he was worried that classified information would be disclosed at trial.

I guess the Iran lobby is getting nervous again.

Along with McNulty, here are the others in the new group:

Kellyanne’s husband co-founds group of anti-Trump lawyers to defend ‘truth’ and ‘rule of law’ (Ugh)
The Daily Mail ^ | November 14, 2018 | David Martosko

George Conway, a conservative attorney whose wife is Donald Trump’s senior White House counselor, has formed an organization whose goal is to push back against the president.
Charter members of the group, called Checks and Balances, include former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, former acting Attorney General Stuart Gerson, former Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty and former Deputy White House Counsel Phillip Brady.
Missing from its mission statement is any mention of Conway’s wife, who helmed Trump’s White House quest and became the first woman to successfully bring a presidential campaign across a November finish line.
‘We believe in the rule of law, the power of truth, the independence of the criminal justice system, the imperative of individual rights and the necessity of civil discourse,’ the group says, seeming to spell out a list of what its members see as the president’s shortcomings.
‘We believe these principles apply regardless of the party or persons in power.’
