watching a bunch of teenagers yapping on their cell phones the whole time, and then concluding that Americans were all morons

I do have to wonder what and how bad people will be acting 30 years from now. In Dallas at this time we are debating about making boys pull up their pants. (The gang-banger look is thought to bring all students down.) There is resistance from all involved in making kids behave - 45 years ago when I was in school this wouldn't be an issue. The slippery slope is turning into a roller coaster.

Another guy who doesn’t know about germans.

His state, I'm sure is the healthier: for who can read of Goethe without Goebbles? Heidegger and not Himmler? And, after all, what is a man profited if he should gain philosophy, music, poetry and art, but kill all the Jews of Europe? (Matthew 16:26)

the best Japanese

I believe that the Nisei infantry regiment of Japanese that fought in Italy and France was the highest decorated in WW II.

We probably also need to look at how many "outfits" were drawn from one local area and fought as an American Unit in WW II. Composed mostly of Irish, German, Scotch, etc.

Good points.

One thing very wrong about this article is the following:

“No, the Germans are ashamed because they got their rear ends handed back to them by a bunch of Yanks, Russkies and Brits who they considered-and still consider-to be members of inferior races.”

Yes the Germans are ashamed they lost. I agree with that. However, they did not consider the Brits and the Americans as Inferior radces. They were just pissed that the Brits did not side with them against the Russkies and that America was even involved. Hell, about half the white folks in the USA have at least some German Ancestry (including my Rebel self-originally from Alabama).

It is pretty well documented that Hitler felt that the USA was a nation of half-breeds and were inferior to full-blooded Germans. Also, the US was supposed to be run by Jews. Most of the German officers felt that America was a real threat even in the 1930's.

But as you hint Hitler felt that the British were cousins and part Arian. All of the racial purity laws in Germany we designed to promote the "Supermen" (pure arian) and if the Germans won WW II we would be having this converstation in German and I would be addressing you as Herr because of you German ancestry.

True that. They did however detest the French, and considered them to be cowards. They did have respect for the Russian military, but the psychotic Hitler apparently thought they could be defeated partly because of Stalin's extermination of much of the Russian officer corp during the putsch. My dad served in the German military during WWII: to his dying day he hated the French. I think its bizarre, but he used to wonder why the US entered the war. I used to tell him that there was this little matter of Pearl Harbor, and that Hitler had signed a pact with the Japanese. From the very little he ever spoke about the war, he always said that the German foot soldier had no personal hatred toward the Americans. They somehow viewed themselves as defending their country... I can't explain it. I'm just glad we emigrated here.

Hitler thought giving any rights to blacks, and allowing them the honor of serving in the military, made America an inferior nation.

Your are gaging your assumptions based off of Mein Kampf. Read Hitler’s second book, which was a hidden first draft from the mid30s. (They just published it a few years ago. It was found by a German-Jewish Historian). He definitely did not think of most Americans as inferior. In fact, he repected us as the major threat of the future and praised our old segregation laws and how we restricted immigration from Eastern Europe. There is a major change in his thinking from the first to the second book. Of course, there is still a little of the usual blame the Jews crap.

Your saying when we actually restricted immigration. So I learned something today from you about Adolf that he like Americans or should I say that he learned to respect us in his latter years.

I think he learned to respect us in his later years. :)

You ought to read the 2nd book he wrote. It is quite fascinating as it is his detailed outline of his plans for World Domination. For that reason alone, he had it sealed away in a vault where it was forgotten about, only to be re-discovered @50 years later.

I don’t know why, but right after typing that last sentence the first thing that came into my mind was Plankton from the Spongebob cartoon - a weird little creature on my daughter’s favorite cartoon who dreams of ruling the world.
