I’m thrilled to read some good news about the campaign! It’s all been gloom and doom lately. We need to get involved with his effort on the local level. You still have time in PA to get some voters informed.
Virginia votes earlier than PA (Feb. I think), I’ll be voting for him then. We have less time here to get the word out, but I’ll be doing what I can.
Join “Team Mitt”.
> he did nothing to act against sanctuary cities in his own
> state.
What was he supposed to do?
Arrest the mayors and city councilmen?
What Mitt DID do is to deputize the State Police to enforce the Federal laws against illegal immigrants, charging them to arrest them when they found them and submit them to US-CIS for deportation.
Which other governor has taken THAT step?
Huckabee wants to grant them amnesty, as does McCain.
By the way, the Mass state legislature was hysterical, wringing their hands and decrying the mean governor.
From your brilliant mind and keyboard to God’s ears!
Sorry, I think you are wrong, somewhat. All the Thompson voters didn’t go to McCain when he dropped out. The difference here would be that Huckabee would endorse McCain so a lot may follow his advice.
The real shame is that Huckabee caught on before Iowa. Without that, Romney wins Iowa over Thompson, the Wyoming win is then more meaningful and less easily dismissed and so New Hampshire becomes a whole new election where Mitt probably wins.
Hi there!
Ya see Ms. Parra is not going to run again..
Mitt is salvageable, McCain is beyond repair
Who is this Giuliani guy? ;-)
This is what we get for playing with stacked decks in both parties.. as go Kaleeforrrniyaaaa, so goes the nation.. Ouch!
Without Huckabee, I think it more likely that Thompson would have won Iowa, and South Carolina and possibly Wyoming. He would have probably taken Florida and he would be the "inevitable" candidate now.
I’ve got to hand it to him for persevering. He’s got guts.
I like Fred but he never had a chance. The reason he kept “delaying” his entry into the race was a national lack of support and money. He and Guiliani both selected failing campaign strategys because they had no other choice.
