Presidents, right and left, must be predictable, world stability depends on it. There is too much at stake in the polydimensional chess match the POTUS must play on a daily basis. The best presidents have been the most predictable. The greatest angst among GOP voters is that no body knows which McCain will emerge on any given issue or given day. No one fully trusts him.
