I confess to a certain sensitivity in this regard: I listen to a great deal of music and I have a life-long love of language. My ear is particularly attuned to the melodic and the mellifluous. Either term would serve nicely as an antonym for the quality of Ms. Clinton's own distinctive vocalizations, which are to "harmony" what peace activists are to "hygiene".
HIllary's speech is not entirely unmusical, as there is often a "sing-song" cadence to it, especially when she is straining to dispense her pearls of superior wisdom to the poor dullards she considers fortunate enough to be within earshot. And "earshot" is precisely what many folks wish they had been prior to being exposed to it, for she makes not the slightest effort at modulation or tonal variation, but labors on in that same Every-Word-Must-Be-Equally-PRO-NUN-CI-A-TED! style and in a narrow-throated high register that might conceivably disrupt the migratory habits of nesting waterfowl.
If America has no other reason to vote against Hillary Clinton this fall, and if Republicans are still wrestling with the idea of John McCain as their own standard-bearer, I would only ask that they consider waking up each morning for the next four to eight years, and having to listen to THAT voice. For his part, Bill Clinton chose not to. If he couldn't stand it, why should we?
Which voice? Her southern voice or her African-American voice or her northern voice or . . . . .

I'm presently working on a book, in between which I am pestering various newspaper and magazine editors with submissions of my ramblings and ravings. If it all works out, I might just be able to quit my job as an insurance analyst and still be able to keep both my liquor and gun cabinets full, my wife in shoes and my daughter in Hannah Montana tickets.

And she also looked older than Bill in photos from their Radical Days!
And her birth certificate is Missing In Action. However, the boys' name that she claims as hers... HILLARY, was just a boys name at that time!
