Sad isn’t it?

The privately owned South Korean fishing industry generates and uses more electricity on their boats than the entire communist dictatorship in the north.

The country in the video was Iraq, the troops were Brits.

A lovely young lady.

It is not only N.K. that does odd things.

In the 1960’s the Feds ran phone lines all over our valley, an area of 18 miles X almost 100 miles.

Not electric, but only phone lines.

At the time, there were maybe a total of 200 people living in the area.

There are still many areas with phones but of course no water or electric.

I’m thinking if all their traffic cops were like that we would have heard about it before now.

I just went to Google Earth. Pulled up Pyonyang and took a look around. For a city the size of Pyonyang, you’d expect to see a lot of traffic. Now I don’t know when the image database was flown, but whenever it was, it shows a very noticeable LACK of traffic. That whole country is so backwards. Something must be going on there. All those buildings need employees to run them. Where do they come from and how do they get to those buildings. Or do they build them and leave them empty like the Ryugyong Hotel? Just a horrible misuse of a country. Thanks to L’il Kim and his daddy.

They have all these big streets but most people don’t own cars so the streets are usually empty.

I read an article a while ago that claimed that hotel was built without structural steel. I don’t know if that is even possible, but maybe that is why they had to finally abandon it.

Nothing would surprise me there. They don’t let anyone go near it. Maybe that’s why.

"I’ll bet the cutie waves on 2 cars a day."

I'll bet the cutie was put there expressly for the benefit of the NY Philharmonic and spent her very first and last day on the job the date this photo was taken.

I have heard (probably just an Internet rumor)that most of them look like that. Very few cars on the street except for those of “Dear Leader” and his buds. Gives them some eye candy on the way to meetings.

"You want to bet she’s not there, now that the New York Symphony is gone? She’s probably hacking down some tree for warmth."

Nah, she's probably forced to do the "Dear Leader" when off duty.

Oooh, pictures of Lil’ Kimmie’s pleasure team!

Imagine how great a job it would be to... be the recruiter for his pleasure team.

:-P

It’s probably the best job in all of North Korea.
