Actually Obama’s stronger in Nevada than Clinton (whose fav. rating there is high 30s).

I stand corrected.

9 Colorado 48.5%

5 New Mexico 36.5%

7 Iowa 36.0%

4 New Hampshire 30.0%

Survey USA is a quality pollster. However, their Presidential maps are odd. Obama takes ND and is competitive in ND. Plus Texas a battleground state?

That sure is weird so I decided to look further. They report Obama bested McCain by 2 in their 600 person poll of North Dakotans. But the sample was registered voters which I believe biases the outcome to the left by about 2 pct points.

They have the sample as 31% R, 34% D, and the rest I. Does that sound like the voting population of North Dakota to you?

Survey USA ND>

That national poll was mostly bull with a few interesting insights (i.e., Hillary toast in the Pacific N.W., Obama fading FAST in N.H.).

Obama is not Wilder. Obama is VERY liberal - he’s taken up both sides on human CLONING, straddled infanticide. McCain will have a strong base of military support, and the evangelicals will rally behind McCain when Obama is exposed.

I agree in general but not with the numerical designations. Our chances of carrying N.H. are much higher than 30%, Virginia is definitely higher than 50%, Florida higher than 57%.

Some of the SUSA sample percentages as you pointed out are suspect. They have Ohio as 49% Democrat. I mean for crying out loud that’s more Democrat than Massachusetts. They have California as 47% when according to their secretary of state it’s 43%.

We’ll give it four or eight more years. Keep up that immigration and the state will end up being the New Jersey of the South.

The southern counties of Texas are now provinces of Latin America and the trend is moving north. In a generation or two it will follow California and Arizona.

I heard a lot of them were fleeing to Maryland (unfortunately for me). Virginia’s getting ‘tougher’.
