I hope we all get our pea-shooters out and pop this trial balloon before it floats any higher.
I can no longer (though once did) think about Rice in the VP slot.

After that speech yesterday, McCain could pick Barny Frank and I wouldn’t give a damn.

She is on record about a dozen times denying that she EVER wants to be president, under any circumstances. This is all on tape.
I find it hard to believe that she would want to jump in, with those denials out there on video.
State is no win job with an unpopular president, so I can’t really blame her there. Most of her best work is behind the scenes anyway.
In any case, I still have strong respect for her.
The party could do much, much worse.

If I had any money, I wouldn’t risk it on that bet. It does nothing for McCain. It might even turn off some of the mushy Democrat vote that makes up McCain’s base.

"Rice appeared for the first time this week at the so-called Wednesday meeting run by Grover Norquist"I sure hope she's not polluting herself with Grover Norquist!!!
I used to think she'd be good, but as of late I'm losing confidence in her and never ever had any in MucKain!!!
I don't much care anymore as I'm voting for a REAL "GANG-GREEN" infested Leftist... Ralph Nader!!! At least he doesn't claim to be some kind of conservative or Republican like Schwartzenswindler or McCain!!!

I think she would make a good VP for Obama, since they are both antisemites.

I don’t buy that.
W has always had a problem with State. They have been insubordinate from the day he stepped into the Oval Office.
Condi was supposed to fix State. They rolled her.

I like Condi as a person, but I certainly hope she is not McCain’s VP. Right now I believe Mitt Romney would be the best choice.
The more I hear McCain the worse I feel about having to vote for him in November! I prayed for a Thompson/Romney ticket to no avail. My hope now is that the VP slot is filled with someone who can take over in four years.
To: bill1952
McCain/Rice. It might work. She certainly has the foreign policy experience.
