Yet another reason to not show up and vote for McCain.

Romney on the bottom of the ticket is about the only way McCain can make himself acceptable to me.

That's two of us anyway. The only way I will vote for McCain is if Romney is the VP. I truly believe that Mac will not live to complete one term if he is elected. I want someone there who can step in and do the job. Mitt is qualified.

Whatever else McCain is, he isn’t stupid. He knows Romney would be a pretty tasty bone to throw to conservatives (a small minority of Mitt haters notwithstanding). He kissed and made up with Bush after the nasty 2000 primary so it wouldn’t surprise me if he was able to swallow his pride and pick Mitt now.

Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.
