Are there any cartoonists here, who are realistic about our Government's inaction on Iran and willing to see the proper action taken?

If so, our Nation needs to see a cartoon of one of our leaders (Sec. of Defense or Navy Admiral) trying to kiss the Ayatollah's (or Ahmadinejad's) rear end. That would do it, if you have the courage.

[Caution: no military officer who is also a cartoonist should do that (see UCMJ on officers saying negative things about the Commander-In-Chief). Only patriotic civilians, who love our Nation, should post such needed and temporary earned disrespect.]

They want to stop American Hero's from killing their proxy fighters.

The arrogance of dictatorship, clearly.

It seems to me that it’s time to drop the silliness and the pretenses and tell the Iranians to get the hell out of Iraq, themselves.
Stop the attacks? Hell, NO. The only folks getting attacked are the ones in bed with the Iranians... Sounds like they need time to rest up and re-supply. Keep the heat on ‘em.

This seems to be the standard tactic of the jihadists. You start a battle, then get your nuts handed to you on a platter, and then you call for a cease fir before they all get wiped out. These guys are vermin that need to be culled from the planet.

They’re right. We should begin savage attacks against Iran instead.

I recommend rising the right hand, wiggling all five fingers, and announcing, “Hey, unnamed Iranian official — one of these is for you!”

Yes, again Iran brings a knife to a gun fight.

Reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from the movies:

Malone: You said you wanted to get Capone. Do you really wanna get him? You see what I'm saying is, what are you prepared to do?
Ness: Anything within the law.
Malone: And *then* what are you prepared to do? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way. Because they're not gonna give up the fight, until one of you is dead.
Ness: I want to get Capone! I don't know how to do it.
Malone: You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way! And that's how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I'm offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?
Ness: I have sworn to capture this man with all legal powers at my disposal and I will do so.
Malone: Well, the Lord hates a coward. [jabs Ness with his hand, and Ness shakes it]
Malone: Do you know what a blood oath is, Mr. Ness?
Ness: Yes.
Malone: Good, 'cause you just took one.

These guys are vermin that need to be culled from the planet.

They're liberals: consumate liars all. We're not there killing Iraqi people, we're killing religious radicals who are killing the Iraqi people- (bomb-belts on 'tards in Baghdad, for example).

Until they rid themselves of excess religious radicals and embrace individual liberties they're going nowhere. Boy, what they need is some serious "separation of church and state".

As much as I loathe to admit it, I’d most reluctantly have to concur, sad to say.

Well, Petraeus will be head of CENTCOM, and he’s said we won’t win in Iraq until we “somehow” force Iran to stop interfering in Iraq.

Why would Bush want to promote Petraeus when his job in Iraq isn’t finished yet? Is it because Bush wants to give this decisive leader a much bigger mission? Why is Bush quietly adding to the strategic oil reserve?

Also, Bill Roggio reports that—believe it or not—it was only after the incursion into Basra that the Shi’ite government of Iraq accepted Iran’s role in the insurgency. The Iraqis were shown documents, weapons, and confessions of captured Iranians, and these have apparently convinced them.

Sectarian loyalties being what they are, the Iraqi Shi’ites couldn’t believe that Iranian Shi’ites would be behind the rape, torture, and murders of tens of thousands of their co-religionists. (Never mind that it’s already happening in Iran.)

There’s a lot we can say about this denial. But the point is that according to American sources, the Iraqis are finally 100 percent on board with the notion that Iran must be stopped.

The Iraqi delegation to Iran has just reported that once again the Iranians deny responsibility for what’s happening in Iraq, so I’m willing to bet we’re going to see some form of military action taken against Iran soon after Petraeus becomes head of CENTCOM.

"They are So asking for it."

Indeed they are. And if McCain wins in Novermber... the GWB is going to light up Iran before he leaves office. McCain will have no problem taking over.

That’s journalized in their Order of Battle, I believe.

1. Jump out of building
2. Fire wildly
3. Jump back in building
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until armed resistance is apparent
5. Call for ceasefire

We won’t comply with the Iranian demand, but we won’t do anything about Iran either. Our current policy with Iran is a kid gloves, hands off policy that allows Iran to kill as many US troops as they like with utter impunity.
