As much as this represents loved consumed, in terms of policy, it is bad to let our soldiers mate with Iraqi civilians. Under Islam, converting to Christianity is a capital offense, and certainly causes great uproar in the Iraqi government and its populace.

If I were his commander, I would have to do everything possible to prevent them from fraternizing together.

I agree - unfortunately, many people just don’t get what that means... But it is about faith.

A person with a saving faith in Jesus Christ married to someone who believes in the Satanic religion of Islam is not evenly yoked.

But as I have no idea about the true faith (if any) of either in this couple, I will defer to them and wish them a long and happy marriage. I hope they both become real believers in Jesus Christ.

If I were his commander. I might agree with you.

As just another keyboard commander, I hope their love can help to bring some joy to an oft times sad situation.

The fact that she converted to Christianity gives me hope.
