There, fixed it.

I halfway expected Phoenix’ fist photo to include a one rover welcoming committee.

More importantly, did they land near the flags left by the Apollo types?

(Tip of the hat to one of the lame brained female congressional types.)

Thanks for the spectacular photos.

Funny thing is, I have the same view when looking out into my backyard in Arizona.

And, instead of hoping to see tire tracks or earth-type debris, I was hoping there would be a bare footprint or two.

We spent a few Billion dollars, and took pictures of the same dust and rocks that the Viking landers took back in 1976!!

2008

1976

Hint to NASA - there is no life on Mars.

Hint to NASA - there {probably} is no life {at two locations} {today} on {the surface of} Mars.

There, fixed it.

LOL!

Let me know when they find life {6" under the surface} around the corner {tomorrow}.

P.S. you won't be pinging me with the news of life discovered there - ever.

This is unreal. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter actually caught a picture of it descending.

68 degrees north latitude, 234 degrees east longitude.

Why does east longitude go beyond 180 degrees?

Global warming. Solar System Warming.

Yes, I saw that picture during the briefing that ended a little while ago. It is absolutely astounding. I was floored when the guy was explaining it.

Just. Wow.

It certainly says something about our country, that not only can we conduct combat operations across our planet, but also - simultaneously - conduct surface operations with multiple vehicles on another planet. No other country has ever come close.

Let me see. I get an advanced science/engineering degree. I get a job at NASA. I dream up neat things to do in space. I get taxpayers to fund my project. I carry out the mission. Then I do it all over again.

Clearly, I missed my calling.

I totally agree...NO LIFE ON MARS...the FReeper moonbats seem to lose it when such statements are made.
