‘MCCAIN BECAUSE THE ALTERNATIVE IS UNTHINKABLE’

Well put.

That's exactly what RINO is counting on. Real conservatives selling out and voting for him out of fear of an Obama regime.

Well, not me.

You need to wake up. McNut not just pandering to the left with his global warming speeches and such. He IS the left.

‘MCCAIN BECAUSE THE ALTERNATIVE IS UNTHINKABLE’

Utter and complete garbage.

This is the BOB DOLE STRATEGY.

This strategy did not work against an impeached, sex maniac, ultimatly DISBARRED LIAR and YET

doing the SAME FAILED STRATEGY IS GOING TO GET A DIFFERENT RESULT?!

That is the height of delusion.

McCain can ONLY WIN BY OFFERING SOMETHING TO VOTE FOR!

McCain is just a mee too rino.

This is the garbage that gave us 2006: DINO ALWAYS TRUMPS RINO.

enjoy your obama.

come on...it’s obviously not as good as the fair tax, but it’s a step towards it.

The only way the Federal Government can get more than 20% of GDP is the Fair Tax. Raise taxes and you get less GDP and even less tax revenue.
Hauser’s Law is like gravity. It cannot be denied!

Well, that’s the way we see it at least.

The current income tax code that we are languishing under started out as a Flat Tax too. Given that the code has been changed 16,000 times since the last "tax reform" that happened in 1986, I'd give a Flat Tax less than one week before some K Street lobbyist pays off enough members of Congress to start changing the code again. The Flat Tax doesn't go far enough to fix our broken system.

A truly viable tax reform proposal must address the following three end-goals:

Thus far, only one tax reform proposal addresses all three of those issues: the FairTax.

McCain does not care if it is real or fake.

McCain runs all issues through the RINO “What will give me power” lenses.

Thus he supports amnesty because he thinks it will give him the hispanic vote.

Global warming gives him the hippy vote.

it is all about him standing out more than others for his own power.

I would suspect his support of victory is more about his own keeping a job rather than constitutional principles and liberty.

There's no need to settle for only a step towards The Fair Tax when there is an option to enact The Fair Tax.

“Most significantly, he would let Americans choose to file taxes under today’s rules or volunteer for a simpler, flatter rate, perhaps at 25 or 15 percent.”

“So now you have to do your taxes twice to see wich way costs less. Great.”

I think you are forgetting about the AMT. In many cases, you would have to calculate your taxes 3 times. BTW, if you like a parallel flat tax system, you should love the AMT.

Bold? I don’t really see how that word belongs in a description of the campaign platform of someone advocating a flat income tax option. That proposal is certainly not “bold” and it also is not politically viable.

As we move deeper into the 21st century, globalization will become recognized for the megatrend that it is. To continue into that environment with a tax system which places our producers at a disadvantage in a marketplace that is growing more and more global with each passing week is insane - and certainly not “bold”.

OK, hot shot. So what do you suggest? Or you’re just hollering at me hoping McCain will overhear and offer the voters something?

Re your post #62. What do you suggest? Moving to Alaska and seceding from the Union?
