Finkelstein is the same as Neturei Karta except that he doesn’t dress funny.
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Finkle is a Jew hating POS and as such was kept out of Eretz Israel. I have no problem with that and neither should you. You should spend your limited time on earth defending the more deserving
You are a fool if you think many Jews in Israel or anywhere share Finkle’s views. I doubt you are Jewish so butt out
A self hating jew is still a self hating jew. I have far more respect for the loyalists on any side who at least do not betray their own kind.
It shows taht they are not a pro-Israel institution. And given Finkelstein’s paucity of scholarship, they fired him for reasons other than Israel or Jews.
WOW! Finally the Olmert government showed a modicum of sense. Better still, why doesn’t the IDF escort all self-loathing scum such as this Finkelswine directly into Judea and Samaria to receive the Rachel Corrie treatment? (Hey, I can dream...!)
It's a good thing he doesn't hang out with "redneck" preachers like John Hagee. After all, liberals do have some standards! [/sarcasm]
His dementia cannot be explained, Rick. 'Liberalism' is a disease with no known cure. Being a scholar without 'intelligence' just means that he's a good student - not that he's intelligent.
The only important message is: 'Would you want this asshole teaching your very-own children anything-at-all?'
His scholarship tends to wane when your own family is involved.
The FLA-Amazon-Brigade will now keep an eye on you pal .............. FRegards
Do you like kitties?
This is more to the other posters than to Joe Falick, but for the record, I didn’t defend him. I simply pointed out that he’s not a Holocaust Denier.
Again, I have an interest in him because I took one of his classes (basic political philosophy, nothing current or controversial).
It seems that he makes personal attacks on the people he disagrees with, which I think undermines anyone’s serious argument.
It also seems that he takes a tenable position — that Israel’s proclivity toward militarism and violence is a historical irony given the circumstances of its founding (even if you don’t agree) — and expands it into the same type of hatred he shows his debating partners (not tenable), and also serves as an apologist for terrorist groups like Hizbollah while ignoring their very relevant crimes (also not tenable).
And I thought that put a finer point on the issue than simply “he’s a @#$% and a denier!”.
